We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Design, to improve overall product quality and deliver a seamless, reliable user experience.
The role emphasizes strong manual testing expertise and close collaboration with automation engineers to optimize test coverage.
- Analyze product requirements and create clear, well-structured test cases and test plans
- Validate new features and ensure readiness for production releases
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects, and verify fixes
- Support release sign-off by providing clear testing results and quality recommendations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, best practices, and testing standards
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices
- Confident knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing
- Basic understanding of CI tools and modern software development practices
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Bugzilla)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and improving product quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
- Experience testing AI agents or AI-driven systems
- Basic knowledge of Python or Java
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and workflows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
