Who We Are

Servicon is a women-owned facilities services company based in Southern California. We serve clients in healthcare, aerospace and defense, government and commercial property, and we are growing quickly. Looking for someone who is passionate about making an impact and ready to join a great team.

The Role
  • You bring our marketing together and own the detail.
  • You work with an experienced team: a designer, a copywriter, a digital agency, a web development specialist and a strategic communications partner.
  • You brief them, manage the work and make sure it is delivered on time.
  • You do not write long-form copy or design. You do create social content.
  • Marketing owns external communications. Internal communications sit elsewhere.
What You Will Do

Sales and operations enablement

  • Be the first point of contact for Sales, and for Operations when they need client-facing material.
  • Find out what each team is trying to achieve, then recommend the right solution.
  • Use the existing collateral library before commissioning anything new.
  • Write clear briefs and manage every project in Trello, with owners and dates kept current.
  • Give the designer complete instructions, so nothing is left to interpretation.
  • Manage the development of digital campaign assets for paid LinkedIn, search, Meta, email and organic social. Our web development specialist runs the campaigns.
  • Organize printing of collateral.
  • Secure sign-off before anything goes out and keep finished assets organized and on brand.

Trade shows

  • Own each show end to end, starting with objectives and messaging agreed with the sales lead.
  • Confirm booth specifications directly with event organizers.
  • Coordinate backdrops, flooring, kiosks and screen content, print, giveaways and lead capture.
  • Stage materials at the office, then manage shipping, build and breakdown.
  • Get every lead into HubSpot and followed up, and report on results and cost per lead.

Social media

  • You will write, create, schedule and report on our company channels such as Linked In, Instagram, and Facebook through HubSpot.
  • Keep content credible and on brand, never polarizing, while still catching the eye.
  • Capture content in the office and at company events, working with the office manager.
  • Lead the weekly organic social meeting.

Executive LinkedIn

  • Publish approved posts for the CEO and selected leaders in Taplio.
  • Build target lists with each leader and engage with those contacts on their behalf.
  • Bring ideas from what others in the industry are posting.
  • Report results to the Executive Director.
What It Takes To Be Successful
  • You work independently and pick up the phone when a message goes unanswered.
  • You bring a proposed solution with every problem.
  • You keep the Executive Director informed and align on significant decisions before acting.
  • You use HubSpot and Taplio to their full extent and suggest better ways of working.
  • You attend the weekly Marketing, Sales and Marketing, and content meetings.

Required

  • A marketing degree or equivalent early-career experience. Internships count.
  • Strong organization and structured thinking.
  • Enjoyment of working with salespeople, and a drive to help them win.
  • Energy, initiative and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Clear writing, especially briefs.
  • Sound judgement on brand and tone.
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders, in person and by phone.
  • The ability to train quickly on Trello, HubSpot, Canva, Notion, Figma and Taplio quickly.
  • Confidence using AI tools for brief writing, research, first drafts and everyday efficiency.

Preferred

  • Trade show or event experience.
  • Social content experience for a brand.
  • A grasp of paid digital campaigns.
  • Photography and short-form video skills.
Why You Will Love It Here
  • Comprehensive Medical Plans including Vision and Dental
  • Training on our tools and processes.
  • Real ownership, with direct exposure to senior leadership supporting career development.
