IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate to join our fun and growing team. In this role, you will play an essential part in the marketing of our flagship product, IXL. You’ll help create a broad range of materials that engage with our key audiences: educators, parents, and students. We’re looking for someone who is a strong writer and communicator, who is also creative, organized, proactive, and passionate about IXL’s mission to impact education. #LI-GW1

This is a full time position in our San Mateo, CA office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Write and develop marketing content, including but not limited to: marketing and sales collateral, emails, web copy, blog posts, case studies, and more 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to devise creative ways to reach potential customers and to deepen our engagement with existing users
  • Work with colleagues from various teams, including product managers and graphic designers, to coordinate and implement projects from start to finish
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of solid marketing experience in a professional environment
  • Written communication: You are an exceptional writer and know how to make every word count. You can switch easily from writing messaging about a new product feature, to crafting an impactful marketing email, to developing a lighthearted blog post
  • Interpersonal skills: You’re a team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • You get things done: You’re a self starter, detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, can manage projects from start to finish and juggle multiple deadlines
  • You have knowledge of, or an interest in, education/edtech and can learn about the industry quickly  
  • Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $80,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
