Marketing Coordinator — Web & App Focused

The Marketing Coordinator — Web & App Focused is responsible for updating, maintaining, and optimizing website, app, email, and digital content to ensure accuracy, relevance, strong user experience, and a consistent brand voice. This role supports the marketing department through digital content management, SEO, analytics reporting, promotional support, event coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with internal departments.

This position plays an important role in maintaining the casino’s digital presence while also assisting with marketing promotions, events, guest engagement, and department operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Update, maintain, and manage website and app content to ensure information is accurate, current, relevant, and aligned with the company’s brand voice.
  • Perform website, app, and email content editing.
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines.
  • Execute SEO-related tasks and continuously refine digital content performance.
  • Maintain and implement new web tracking technologies.
  • Monitor website and app performance, analyze user engagement data, and recommend improvements to enhance the user experience.
  • Provide monthly data and analytics reports.
  • Conduct periodic audits to identify and correct outdated, inaccurate, or inconsistent content.
  • Gather user feedback from the website and app to better understand the user experience and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Manage content calendars and schedules for timely updates, promotions, campaigns, and digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, graphic design, social media, casino operations, and other property departments, to implement updates and changes.
  • Coordinate with the Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator to incorporate visual and multimedia elements into website and app content.
  • Work with appropriate departments to ensure in-room TVs have the most current information, ideally mirroring the website and app.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, digital marketing strategies, website best practices, SEO, app maintenance, and user experience improvements.
  • Support marketing functions including graphic design, production, social media, and digital content coordination.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing casino promotions, showroom events, casino floor events, off-site events, slot tournaments, elite parties, entertainment events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute events in the showroom, on the casino floor, or off-site.
  • Assist in ordering promotional items and materials for casino promotions and events.
  • Staff representative positions and special promotions as needed.
  • Assure player tracking for attendees at events and promotions.
  • Periodically conduct surveys that measure guest satisfaction, elite player visits, and play.
  • Help disseminate marketing information across departments and guest-facing platforms.
  • Utilize casino and marketing software to ensure proper data entry and information collection.
  • Facilitate and promote business growth, marketing functions, casino promotions, and guest engagement initiatives.
  • Support casino hosts and the marketing department as needed.
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all casino patrons.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of all patron files, records, lists, and casino information.
  • Adhere to and comply with all casino policies and procedures, internal rules and regulations, and all regulations of the Colorado Department of Gaming.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven experience as a website content coordinator, digital content coordinator, marketing coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, web development, content management systems, SEO principles, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management tools.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop for design.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia content.
  • Familiarity with app development and app maintenance processes is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, digital marketing best practices, SEO, website strategy, and user experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret website analytics, app data, campaign performance, and user feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively with guests in the casino and at external events.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with various teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Excellent writing skills preferred.
  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work in and facilitate a team environment.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Ability to apply gaming knowledge and experience in day-to-day work scenarios.
  • Ability to make decisions in the best interest of Monarch Casino based on precedent, policy, and procedure.
  • Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to acquire a Colorado Gaming Support License.

Education, Training, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of hospitality experience required.
  • Gaming experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in VIP Services or Front Desk Services at a casino/hotel property preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of clerical experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting marketing, promotions, events, digital content, social media, graphic design, or casino operations preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
