We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Events Specialist Contractor to join our growing marketing team at Forward Networks. 

In this role, you will ensure seamless execution of our company tradeshows and corporate events This is a detail oriented role designed for a motivated professional who is eager to learn the ropes of event marketing. 

The ideal candidate isn’t just organized, they are meticulous. You will handle the administrative engine that powers our events from tracking deadlines and budgets to navigating cross-functional collaboration with our peers and stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update detailed project plans.
  • Utilize project management tools (like Asana) to track multiple deliverables across various concurrent events.
  • Assist in researching and vetting new vendors to ensure high-quality partnerships.
  • Manage event registration processes and oversee the integrity of lead lists.
  • Handle data and analytics entry post-event to measure ROI and performance.
  • Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.
  • Assist in developing and updating event-related content for the company website and promotional materials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various team within marketing and the organization 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Detail-Orientation: You are the person who catches the typo everyone else missed and notices a scheduling conflict before it happens.
  • Highly Organized: You have a proven system for managing tasks and never let a deadline slip through the cracks.
  • Communication Pro: You are a clear and effective communicator, both in professional emails and verbal briefings.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Suite is required. Experience with Asana or similar project management software is a major plus.
  • Eagerness to Learn: You have a "no task too small" attitude and the ability to quickly ramp up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education/Experience: A recent college degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or 1–2 years of professional office experience.
