As Marketing Operations Lead, you will be a founding member of our GTM Strategy & Operations team where you will own the buildout of the marketing operations function from the ground up.

You will own the systems, workflows, data, and operating infrastructure that enable marketing to scale. You will be the primary operations partner to field marketing, growth marketing, product marketing, and product-led growth. You will also own the evolution of marketing-related workflows in Factory’s own product.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a technical builder with the potential to evolve into a people manager role as our GTM scales. This role reports to the Head of GTM Strategy & Operations. This is an in-office role based in our San Francisco headquarters.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and administer the marketing automation platform and other marketing technology stack.

  • Build scalable processes for campaign ops, lead management, lifecycle programs, attribution, etc.

  • Create clear documentation, governance, and measurement standards for the marketing ecosystem.

  • Own all the definitions and technical implementation of marketing-related data structures and metrics.

  • Build the operational foundation for product-led growth, including user journeys, lifecycle workflows, product signals, and marketing activation.

  • Translate business requirements into reliable automations, integrations, data flows, and processes that help marketing achieve its goals across brand awareness, pipeline generation, and growth.

  • Find novel ways to use Factory droids to streamline and scale marketing workflows.

  • Partner with the broader centralized GTM Strategy & Operations team while maintaining clear ownership of Marketing and PLG Operations.

  • Own privacy and compliance implementation for marketing (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.).

  • Design for scale while keeping the team lean, automated, and high leverage.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or a related function.

  • Strong hands-on administration experience with Marketo or HubSpot.

  • Strong understanding of demand generation, lifecycle marketing, campaign operations, and marketing funnel measurement.

  • Experience administering and operationalizing Salesforce CRM.

  • Experience building marketing operations in an enterprise SaaS environment.

  • A technical mindset and the ability to learn and use new technologies quickly.

  • Experience designing systems and processes for a rapidly growing company.

  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and how it impacts marketing.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations.

  • An operator’s mindset: you build, troubleshoot, document, and improve.

  • Strong AI fluency and a practical instinct for using AI to increase leverage.
