About NexHealth

Our healthcare system remains frustratingly analog. When you live in a world of one-tap car rides, instant meal delivery, and unlimited streaming, why do you still have to call to schedule a doctor’s appointment and fill out a clipboard in the waiting room?

NexHealth’s mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare by connecting patients, providers, and developers. We’re building the infrastructure layer for modern healthcare, connecting thousands of fragmented, on-premise, and closed EHR systems into a single, modern platform that powers software, APIs, payments, and patient experiences across the ecosystem.

  • Founded: 2017
  • Headquarters: San Francisco, CA
  • Funding: $177M Series C
  • Employees: 200+
  • Trusted by tens of thousands of providers and hundreds of health-tech developers — forging the infrastructure layer that modern healthcare needs

About the Role

The Marketing Operations Lead owns the systems, data integrity, and operating rhythm behind our marketing funnel. We're a lean growth function, so the fundamentals have to be solid: lead routing, database hygiene, email segmentation, and lifecycle tracking. You'll work directly with the Head of Growth to turn marketing activity into pipeline the company can trust.

What You'll Do

  • HubSpot architecture: Own HubSpot as the core of our marketing stack: workflows, lifecycle stages, integrations, and admin.
  • Lead routing and scoring: Sales never waits on a lead. Routing, scoring models, and handoffs are fast and accurate.
  • Database governance: Everyone trusts the database: hygiene, segmentation, and sync integrity.
  • Lifecycle and email infrastructure: Build the segmentation, nurture, and lifecycle tracking behind our email and campaign programs, and protect deliverability.
  • Measurement and attribution: Be a force for clarity through accurate conversion tracking and reporting across acquisition, product, and analytics.
  • Campaign operations: Campaigns ship quickly without breaking things, backed by your intake, QA, and launch processes.
  • Experimentation: Run a test-and-learn program with clear ROI and budget accountability.
  • Operating mechanisms: Run the marketing cadence of planning, reporting, and retros.
  • Marketing-sales alignment: Partner with Sales Operations on funnel definitions, SLAs, and the CRM sync.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • Routing is fast and accurate, and Marketing and Sales meet their SLAs.
  • Leadership makes decisions from your dashboards without second-guessing the data.
  • Deliverability, data completeness, and segmentation accuracy all improve.
  • Growth and Sales describe Marketing Operations as an enabler, not a blocker.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in marketing operations at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
  • HubSpot expertise (required): Advanced, hands-on ability to configure, architect, and administer HubSpot.
  • Builder mindset: You scale operations through systems, not headcount.
  • Data fluency: You write your own queries and answer reporting questions end to end without waiting on a data team.
  • High EQ: You can turn marketers' and sellers' frustrations into process improvements without losing their trust.
  • AI capable: You've shipped something with AI (a script, an agent, a workflow) that took a repetitive task off a team's plate.

Our Values

  • Solve the customer’s problems, not yours
When making decisions, think from the perspective of the customer. It’s easy to make decisions that make our lives simpler, but not the customers.
  • Do the things others are not willing to do
As a Nexer, always go after the hardest problems. Pursue things at the highest quality. Move at the fastest pace.
  • Take ownership
Act like a founder. Own your roles, destinies, mistakes, behavior, and our mission. The buck stops with each of us - no blaming or excuses.
  • Say what’s on your mind, with positive intent
Be direct, proactive, transparent, and frequent in your communication.
  • Default trust
As a Nexer, you do not have to earn trust, trust is given to you by default. If we by default trust each other, our speed of communication, feedback, information sharing, and overall improvements will be a lot faster.
  • Think in first principles
We first identify the problem and then break it down to its fundamentals before diving into solutions. We constantly ask “why” to validate our assumptions.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We provide reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities to participate in the application or interview process. Contact [email protected] to request assistance.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
