Who is Rainforest?

Rainforest is an early stage payments-as-a-service startup that has developed a solution that makes monetizing payments for vertically focused software platforms fair and simple.

We focus on small-to-mid sized platforms that want to add value to their small business customers through embedded payments — and want to do so without adding operational or regulatory burdens or costs.

Led by a successful repeat fintech founder with deep knowledge of the industry, and with venture backing from a Top 10 VC firm, Rainforest is well positioned to make an impact in the payments-as-a-service space, and we're looking for new team members who want to be a part of this journey!

What are we looking for?

Rainforest is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Growth Marketing team and own the data, systems, and tooling that power our account-based marketing motion. You'll spend your days using data, AI, and GTM technology to score, research, and prioritize the couple thousand vertical software companies we care about, so that every great account in our market is known, understood, and reached.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who loves to build. You'll know you're the right candidate when you'd rather be in HubSpot, Clay, and Claude building the system than reviewing someone else's dashboard, and when being handed a desired outcome instead of a spec sounds like the fun part.

The Marketing Operations Manager is a remote position, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone. Expect travel about four times a year for company on-sites and industry events.

What are some of the high-impact opportunities you'll tackle?

  • Owning account scoring, research, and tiering across a target market of a couple thousand vertical software companies

  • Building and maintaining AI research agents that assess fit, map buying committees, and estimate account value

  • Ingesting first- and third-party signals and turning them into an account prioritization model that tells sales and marketing where to focus next

  • Measuring our coverage of target accounts and surfacing the ones we haven't reached yet

  • Keeping HubSpot a clean, trusted system of record, from deduplication to account ownership

  • Owning our GTM tech stack, including Hubspot, Clay and Apollo

  • Setting up campaign tracking so we can measure every marketing effort and improve over time

  • Building reporting that leadership looks at regularly and trusts

  • Documenting our systems and making them smarter with every iteration

This opportunity is for you if you have / are:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations, GTM operations, GTM engineering, or revenue operations at a B2B company

  • Hands-on experience building in a CRM, ideally HubSpot (Salesforce experience also translates well)

  • Experience with data orchestration and enrichment tools, ideally Clay, and email sequencing tools, ideally Apollo

  • AI-native. You've built real workflows with AI tools and you're excited to push them further

  • Fluency in a B2B account-based motion: funnel stages, account tiering, buying committees, intent signals, and the metrics that matter

  • A systems thinker who can tie tools, data, and people together into something that scales

  • Strong data fluency, with the ability to structure data and pull out what's meaningful

  • Outcome-oriented and proactive. You spot what's broken and fix it without waiting to be asked

  • Comfortable working independently on a team with few standing meetings

  • Experience in vertical software or fintech is a plus, but not required

We offer a comprehensive health benefits package, unlimited paid time off, paid parental leave, a fun and flexible working environment, and continuously invest in our people and our culture.

If you require any accommodations throughout the pre-employment process, please contact our HR team at [email protected]
