Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing
Freshworks is looking for a Senior Manager of Global Product Marketing to help guide our overall GTM and growth strategy for our fast growing CRM Business Unit. Reporting to the Sr. Director - Product Marketing, you will develop compelling product positioning and messaging programs; be the expert on our target buyer personas; work closely with analysts and press to evangelize our story and drive brand awareness; develop differentiated and winning sales plays; and enable the field to accelerate sales cycles and increase win rates against the competition.
Overall you will apply your industry and product specific domain knowledge of the mid-market and enterprise SaaS CRM market to help our dynamic Freshworks CRM team push the needle forward and hit our business growth objectives. You will also have a passion for creating content and messaging, and presenting your ideas to both internal stakeholders, customers, and thought leaders in the industry. And finally, you will play a marquee role in aligning our product and sales teams to ensure our newest product capabilities are translated into directly relevant value propositions that resonate with prospects and target buyer personas.
This position can be based out of our San Mateo, CA HQ, or remotely within the United States.
Role and Responsibilities:
Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling multi-level product positioning for our next generation CRM applications and AI-driven platform.
Develop Content & Sales Tools: Develop GTM documents, win/loss analysis, sales pitch decks, thought-leadership content, webinar/event content, and other sales artifacts to support our product launches, sales plays, and marketing campaigns.
Market Trends and Competition: Develop deep knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape to shape marketing strategy and actionable insights.
Partner between Product and GTM teams: Communicate products' value proposition with the go-to-market teams and enable sales teams with content, tools, and training.
Drive product launches: Oversee the development and execution of launch plans for product enhancements or new products.
Drive product & feature adoption: Run in-product nudges and campaigns to raise product and feature adoption.
Build the team: Develop and grow the best-in-class Product Marketing team - ensure they are set up to succeed and are successful in their roles.
Partner with various marketing and GTM teams: This will include lead generation, branding, and communications to ensure unified marketing execution.
Partner and Channel: Work closely with our partner and channel team to develop growth strategies, and enable our partners to succeed within the Freshworks family.
Skills & Experience:
10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B tech, preferably in SaaS
Direct experience within the CRM application market, ideally for a product that is/was sold primarily into the mid-market and/or enterprise segments.
Successful expert who has created and executed product marketing strategies, managed budgets, and led the hands-on execution
Have developed the positioning, messaging, and content for products that serve multiple use cases and personas
Proven track record of building and leading a product marketing team of individual contributors and managers
Experience developing sales plays and working with both direct sales organizations and partners channels to drive these plays from concept to execution.
Comfortable with a dual-site working model between U.S. and India, and flexible work hours to support global team execution and collaboration.
