About Think Academy

Think Academy US (www.TheThinkAcademy.com), is recently established education technology (Ed-Tech) company to provide K-12 extra-curricular learning services through science and technology. At Think Academy, we provide full cycle service to foster local children’s ability to think critically, to strengthen their logic skills, and to help them fulfill their goals through innovative teaching techniques. We believe Love and Technology can make education better!

About This Role

We are looking for a Math Competition Product & User Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the end-to-end product design and growth of our elementary math competition programs (Grades 1–5). You will focus on world-class competitions including Math Kangaroo and AMC 8, translating complex competition trends into engaging products and activities that resonate with U.S. parents.

You will work closely with the curriculum, teaching, and marketing teams to participate in the full lifecycle of math competition projects—from initial product design and activity planning to parent community operations and enrollment conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Competition-Driven Product & Content Design

  • Analyze trends, registration cycles, and scoring patterns for elementary math competitions, specifically Math Kangaroo (Grades 1-5) and AMC 8.
  • Translate competition requirements and "dry" academic data into relatable, high-value content for U.S. parents (e.g., prep guides, diagnostic reports, and webinars).
  • Package competition insights into various formats suitable for growth channels, including community posts, short-form copy, and event materials.
  • Guide users from public platforms into our dedicated math competition communities and trial programs.

2. User, Community & Event Operations

  • Directly communicate with parents to collect feedback and generate deep user insights regarding competition goals and pain points.
  • Oversee math-focused community operations across platforms (WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook, etc.), maintaining a professional and helpful environment.
  • Plan and execute growth-oriented activities such as Mock Exams, Challenge Camps, and Assessment Workshops tailored for younger students.
  • Design user touchpoints to move parents from initial interest in competitions to a deeper understanding of our long-term curriculum.

3. User Conversion & Funnel Optimization

  • Design and optimize the full conversion path from competition registration/inquiry to long-term course enrollment.
  • Build and iterate standardized conversion SOPs, including communication rhythms, follow-up mechanisms, and milestone tracking.
  • Identify drop-off points in the funnel through data analysis and propose solutions to improve conversion efficiency and ROI.

4. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure that competition-prep products align with our core teaching goals.
  • Collect project data and conduct performance reviews to continuously optimize operational processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above (STEM, Education, or Marketing preferred).
  • Language Proficiency: Working proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong parent communication skills and the ability to empathize with the educational concerns of North American families.
  • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong data awareness; able to track performance and conduct data-driven reviews.
  • Ownership: A proactive "owner" mindset with the ability to manage projects from 0 to 1 in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of experience in education, community management, or project operations.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. K–12 education landscape, specifically regarding Math Kangaroo and AMC 8.
  • Experience in event planning and enrollment conversion.
Why You Will Love This Role:
  • Clear Growth Path: Opportunities to grow into product management, subject lead, or regional operations management roles.
  • Entrepreneurial Impact: Deeply participate in building and validating math competition products from the ground up in the U.S. market.
  • Make an Impact: Directly contribute to projects that help young students develop a lifelong love for math and logical thinking.
  • Silicon Valley Experience: Work in the heart of the U.S. tech hub with a global team of passionate educators and innovators.
Compensation & Benefits Structure:
  • Total Compensation Package: $85,000 - $100,000
    • Includes Base Salary ($69k-$75k) + Optional Teaching Salary ($12k-$15k) + Teaching & Performance Bonus (Up to 15%)
  • 401k and Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance.
  • H1B Sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
  • Relocation Allowance available.
