We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of advanced mechanical systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will create 3D models and engineering drawings, contribute to design analysis, and support prototyping and testing. This role offers opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility as products progress from concept to production.

This position is based onsite at our Milpitas, CA office and requires regular in-person attendance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and update 3D part and assembly models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA or an equivalent CAD platform.
  • Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and support tolerance analysis to ensure fit, function, and assembly requirements.
  • Support material selection and design for manufacturability and assembly in collaboration with manufacturing and other engineering teams.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations and support mechanical analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist with prototype builds, test setup, design validation, and troubleshooting; document results and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in design reviews and maintain accurate drawings and technical documentation throughout product development.
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings; CATIA preferred, with equivalent CAD experience considered.
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanics of materials, with familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and learn from feedback.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
  • Practical experience with prototyping, mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and design for manufacturability.

Pay Range: $80,000- $120,000 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job-related considerations. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and verification of employment authorization will be required at the time of hire.
