Business Systems ManagerAbout the Role

A leading multi-location distribution and e-commerce company is seeking a highly technical Business Systems Manager to serve as our internal NetSuite Subject Matter Expert and own our enterprise business applications roadmap. In this high-visibility role, you will work directly alongside our Chief Technology Officer and executive leadership team to optimize, scale, and modernize our systems architecture across 8 domestic and international locations.

Your immediate technical focus will be taking ownership of NetSuite API development, custom integrations, and system administration—allowing technical leadership to execute an upcoming Warehouse Management System (WMS) rollout (targeting UAT in late Q3 and go-live in Q4). Post-rollout, you will lead the Q1 NetSuite-to-WMS integration and drive continuous technology modernization across our financial, shipping, and supply chain tools.

Location: Onsite in Corona, CA (Not a remote position)

Reporting To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & API Development (Primary Focus)
  • Custom API Development: Architect, build, and maintain robust REST/SOAP APIs to integrate NetSuite with key business platforms, including WMS (Made4Net), proprietary internal databases, e-commerce channels, and third-party logistics/shipping engines.

  • SuiteScript Development: Write, maintain, and optimize custom SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 (RESTlets, Suitelets, User Event, Scheduled, and Workflow Action scripts) and SuiteFlow automation.

  • Integrations Roadmap: Evaluate, design, and implement upcoming third-party integrations, including new payment processing platforms, accounting tools, and third-party logistics (3PL) solutions.

Functional Administration & Executive Advisory
  • Executive Partnership: Sit down with executive leadership and department heads to translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutions, advising them on how to fully leverage and optimize NetSuite capabilities.

  • NetSuite Administration: Manage core system setup, user access, custom roles, permissions, dashboards, complex saved searches, and SuiteAnalytics reporting.

  • Systems Strategy & Process Optimization: Conduct proper due diligence before development, ensuring business processes are streamlined and scalable rather than quick-fixed.

Project Execution & Support
  • Phased Rollouts: Assist with multi-location system deployments, starting with an international location footprint and expanding across regional domestic sites.

  • UAT & Release Management: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, data migration, and sandbox management for major go-lives and NetSuite updates.

  • System Support: Troubleshoot integration errors, monitor script execution, and optimize overall system performance.

Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
  • NetSuite Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite development, integration, and functional administration experience.

  • Advanced Scripting: Expertise in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, JavaScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and complex Saved Searches.

  • Integration & API Skills: Proven track record building and consuming custom REST/SOAP APIs using JSON/XML data formats.

  • Functional Understanding: Solid understanding of core business operations—specifically Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, inventory management, and financial reporting.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead solution-based technical discussions with business owners and executive leadership.

  • Onsite Commitment: Ability to work full-time onsite in Corona, CA.

Preferred
  • NetSuite Certifications: NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer, Administrator, or Application Developer certifications (company sponsorship available for ongoing certifications).

  • Middleware & Ecosystem Experience: Experience integrating NetSuite with Made4Net WMS, SmartSuite, or major e-commerce/EDI platforms.

  • Domain Background: Prior experience in multi-location distribution, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments.

What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.

  • Growth & Professional Development: Full employer financial support for professional NetSuite certifications and long-term career growth.

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Full health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) match program with gradual vesting.

  • Paid Time Off: Comprehensive combined PTO/Holiday/Sick program increasing with tenure.
