In this role, you will:
- Assist with the underwriting and execution of financing transactions, including completion of due diligence, financial modeling, credit analysis, and drafting credit approval memorandums
- Analyze a wide range of detailed information (lender presentations, management presentations, and financial statements & projections, third party reports, etc.)
- Research complex financial and credit information for commercial businesses according to business unit standards
- Aid in the presentation of transactions to senior management in a clear and concise manner with well-reasoned support
- Review all pertinent documentation to ensure transactions are documented and approved per policy
- Help with the development and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives, via specialized project work and/or assignments
- Integrate AI tools into underwriting and portfolio workflows to streamline research, accelerate production, and drive innovation and efficiency
- 2+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
- Ability to perform in depth commercial financial statement analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets
- Completion of a formal credit training program
- Underwriting experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident manner
- Experience with nCino
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
