About Deck
Deck is building the data infrastructure for the internet. We make scattered, login-protected data instantly accessible through clean APIs and integrations—empowering businesses to act fast and smart, with no friction.
We’re a team of builders from top-tier tech companies who believe one thing: great ideas need great data. If you thrive in early-stage chaos, own your work like a founder, and think in frameworks—not features—Deck might be your next home.
The Role
We’re looking for a Mid-Market Account Manager who blends commercial instinct with product fluency. You’ll own a portfolio of mid-market accounts across fintech, proptech, and energy management — helping clients automate their data operations, expand usage, and realize measurable value.
This is a revenue role. You’ll drive retention, renewals, and expansion while serving as a trusted advisor to clients who rely on Deck for mission-critical data access.
What You’ll Do
Lead renewals, upsells, and cross-sells across your account portfolio — you own the revenue outcomes
Build and manage strong relationships with client decision-makers and technical stakeholders
Partner with Product and Data Engineering to help clients optimize integrations and workflows
Develop a deep understanding of Deck’s product and data ecosystem to guide client adoption
Proactively identify growth opportunities and align internal resources to capture them
Conduct structured business reviews focused on ROI, product usage, and roadmap alignment
Surface client insights and influence product development priorities based on real usage
Create scalable playbooks, enablement materials, and reporting frameworks for account growth
Track account health, forecast renewals, and maintain accurate records in the CRM
Who You Are
4–7 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales in SaaS or data/automation
Strong commercial mindset — you’ve owned renewal and expansion targets before
Product-oriented — you understand APIs, integrations, and data workflows and can translate them into client value
Skilled communicator who can move comfortably between operators and executives
Analytical and organized — you use data to guide actions and measure impact
Thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
Bonus: experience with clients in fintech, proptech, sustainability, or energy data sectors
Competitive pay for the right skills
Proven leadership with a track record of big results
Significant ownership and autonomy in how you operate
A team of exceptional peers tackling complex, high-leverage problems
Momentum: recent fundraise by top-tier investors, massive whitespace, and accelerating traction
Deck isn’t just a product—it’s a mission. We believe that businesses should spend more time thinking and building, and less time wrestling with data plumbing. If that vision excites you, and you’re energized by early-stage speed, ambiguity, and intensity—let’s talk.
Before applying, take a look at our Constitution. If you don't dislike it, there's a good chance you’ll love working here.
