The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Mission Systems Performance Analysis Engineer (Experienced, Lead or Senior) (USAF E-7A) to join our E-7A Program for Mission Performance Analysis Engineers.
The Mission Systems Team is responsible for design, procurement and integration of the full Mission Systems capability onboard the E-7A.
In this role, you will be developing and analyzing cutting edge sensors and tracking solutions providing a clear and concise operating picture to the war fighter. The ideal candidate will have a math, physics, or engineering background and be well versed in MATLAB, C++, or other scripting languages.
The E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. The E-7A program is an important program for Boeing with significant growth potential.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Level 3: $119,850-$162,150
Level 4: $146,200-$197,800
Level 5: $176,800-$239,200

- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
- Conducts trade studies between sensor solutions
- Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various sensors and tracking solutions.
- Performs complex analysis to predict component performance to established requirements.
- Conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.
- Collects data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
- Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle.
- Supports project management by gathering project status data.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Level 3: 5+ years of related experience.
- 3+ years or more experience with one or more of the following programming languages (C,C++,Fortran, Python, Matlab, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 4: 9+ years of related experience.
- Level 5: 14+ years of related experience.
- 3+ years or more experience with Data Analysis of Mission Systems (Radar, EO/IR, EW, etc.)
- 3+ years or more experience working across other user groups to gather, interpret, and coordinate requirements and communicate to other technical associates
- Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
- Experience with E-3, or AEW&C
- Active Top secret/SCI clearance
- Experience with MATLAB for data analysis and/or modeling and simulation
