About Us

Most AI is frozen in place - it doesn't adapt to the world. We think that's backwards. Our mandate is to build efficient intelligence that evolves in real-time. Our vision is AI systems that are flexible, personalized, and accessible to everyone. We believe efficiency is what makes this possible - it's how we expand access and ensure innovation benefits the many, not the few. We believe in talent density: bringing together the best and most driven individuals to push the boundaries of continual adaptation. We're looking for builders and creative thinkers ready to shape the next era of intelligence.

The Role

Our vision is AI systems that are flexible, adaptable, and accessible to everyone. We believe efficiency is what makes this possible. It’s how we expand access and ensure innovation benefits the many, not the few. But a mission only travels as far as the people who carry it. We’re looking for the person who will carry ours into the wider AI ecosystem, the voice researchers, developers and builders think of when they think of Adaption.

You’re a technologist who can’t help explaining things. You’ve worked with models yourself, and you have a rare knack for turning complex ideas into stories people want to share, whether that’s a thread that takes off, a video that makes a concept click, or a talk that leaves a room buzzing. You’re not here to run a community day to day. You’re here to grow one by giving people a reason to pay attention.

Responsibilities
  • Become the public face of Adaption, building a recognizable presence on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and wherever the AI conversation is happening

  • Define and own our voice: what we talk about, how we say it, and why it matters to builders who want more control over their AI

  • Create a steady stream of technical content (threads, short-form video, explainers, deep dives) that makes ideas like efficiency, adaptation and model customization feel tangible

  • Get hands-on with Adaption’s products and turn what you build into narratives: live experiments, side-by-side comparisons, and “here’s what happened when I tried…” stories

  • Represent Adaption on podcasts, panels and livestreams, and over time, on conference stages

  • Build relationships with creators, researchers and other voices across the ecosystem, collaborating on content and amplifying people doing interesting work with our tools

  • Bring the outside in by sharing what you hear in public conversations with product, research and marketing, so it shapes what we build and how we talk about it

Qualifications
  • A technical foundation in ML: you’ve trained, fine-tuned or deployed models, or written serious code around them, and you can hold your own in a conversation with researchers

  • A track record of creating content that has earned attention in technical circles

  • Exceptional written and on-camera communication. You can make a complex idea feel simple without dumbing it down

  • Comfort being visible. You enjoy having opinions in public and standing behind them

  • Strong instincts for what’s interesting. You can spot a story in a benchmark result, a strange bug, or a user’s unexpected experiment

  • Self-directed and prolific. You publish consistently without needing a content calendar handed to you

  • Genuine conviction about changing the status quo of who gets to shape AI

  • Bonus: experience speaking at meetups, conferences or on podcasts

Above all, we're looking for great teammates who make work feel lighter and aren't afraid to go out on a limb with bold ideas. You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to be adaptable. We encourage you to apply, even if you don't check every box.

Benefits
  • Flexible work: In-person collaboration in the Bay Area, a distributed global-first team, and team offsites.

  • Adaption Passport: Annual travel stipend to explore a country you've never visited. We're building intelligence that evolves alongside you, so we encourage you to keep expanding your horizons.

  • Lunch Stipend: Weekly meal allowance for take-out or grocery delivery.

  • Well-Being: Comprehensive medical benefits and generous paid time off.
