About Vibecode

We're democratizing software creation. Our platform lets anyone describe an idea and instantly turn it into a working application—no coding required.

We're solving one of computing's fundamental challenges: bridging the gap between human intent and software execution. This requires breakthrough advances in AI reasoning, code generation, and user experience.

We've raised a large seed round from some of the best investors in the world including Alexis Ohanian (776), Arielle Zuckerberg and Cyan Banister (Long Journey), Ali Partovi and Suzanne Xie (Neo), and a whole host of amazing angels who are leaders at Google, Expo, OpenAI, etc.

About the Role

Want to be at the forefront of making easy-to-use consumer AI agents? This is the perfect role for you.

We're looking for an iOS Engineer to build the mobile experience that makes software creation feel like magic. You'll craft high-quality animations and interactions that make "vibe coding" on your phone intuitive and delightful for millions of users.

What you'll do:

  • Build a native SwiftUI iOS app that makes AI-powered software creation feel effortless and fun

  • Design and implement smooth, engaging animations that guide users through the app creation process

  • Create intuitive touch interactions and gestures for describing, editing, and refining software ideas

  • Optimize performance for real-time AI interactions and live app previews on mobile devices

  • Ship high-quality code fast while maintaining exceptional user experience standards

  • Collaborate closely with designers and AI engineers to bring cutting-edge interactions to life

This isn't typical iOS development. You'll be creating entirely new interaction patterns for mobile-first software creation and building interfaces that make complex AI systems feel simple and approachable.

About You
  • 4+ years of iOS development experience with a track record of shipping consumer apps

  • Expert-level SwiftUI and Swift knowledge with deep understanding of iOS design patterns

  • Strong animation and interaction design skills (Core Animation, SwiftUI animations)

  • Experience building performant, responsive mobile interfaces for complex workflows

  • Passion for crafting delightful user experiences and pixel-perfect implementations

  • Ability to move fast while maintaining high code quality and attention to detail

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with AI/ML integration on mobile or real-time data streaming

  • Background in creative apps, developer tools, or productivity software

  • Understanding of mobile design systems and cross-platform thinking

Why Vibecode

Impact: Build the mobile interface through which millions of people will create software for the first time.

Craft: Work on unique interaction challenges that push the boundaries of what's possible on mobile.

Ownership: Shape our mobile-first approach and establish iOS development standards as a founding engineer.

Growth: Significant equity and the opportunity to scale with a well-funded, fast-growing company.

Details
  • Base Salary: $150,000 - $300,000 based on experience

  • Equity: Significant equity package as a founding team member

  • Location: In-person in San Francisco

Apply

Send your resume, App Store links or portfolio, and a note about an iOS project you're proud of to [email protected] along with filling out the form below.

We'll start with a technical conversation, followed by an onsite where you'll work on real mobile challenges with our team.
