About the Role

Hinge Health is looking for an experienced Senior Motion Designer to help us evolve and scale our brand through motion. You will produce a wide variety of deliverables—from high-fidelity campaign work and customer stories to product animations and explainer videos. Working within the Brand, Creative & Content team, balance crafting original designs with partnering with Designers, Writers, Producers, and stakeholders to define how our product and brand come to life.

We believe movement is medicine, and you will infuse that belief into our brand expression. We are looking for an A-player who balances deep technical expertise with a "learn-it-all" drive, someone who is passionate about motion graphics, animation and how the story gets translated alongside video editing, and sound design.

What you'll Accomplish
  • Elevate visual storytelling: Concept and craft high-quality design and motion graphics, UI motion, and visual effects that bring the brand narrative to life across video and digital touchpoints.

  • Deliver end-to-end excellence: Drive projects from initial concept to high-fidelity final delivery, utilizing storyboarding, style frames, and animation to execute detail-oriented work within our brand system.

  • Scale motion operations: Evolve our motion principles and guidelines while establishing self-serve workflows and templates that empower the wider organization to produce great work at speed.

  • Champion brand innovation: Push the boundaries of our motion language to deliver innovative work that delights customers and drives measurable business objectives.

  • Optimize for efficiency: Proactively identify and integrate emerging industry trends, software, and tools to continuously improve the quality, speed, and technical capabilities of our motion design output.

What we're looking for
  • Professional Experience: 3 years of experience in motion design, video, and editing.

  • Portfolio: A strong body of work that demonstrates expertise in product, branding, communication design, and storytelling.

  • Production Versatility: The ability to concept, design, and produce motion assets across brand foundations, marketing campaigns, paid social, and organic channels.

  • Design Expertise: Strong conceptual skills with proficiency in motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout.

  • Storytelling: The ability to craft a narrative combined with the production know-how to cut and deliver assets.

  • Systems Thinking: A strategic and detail-oriented approach to building and maintaining design systems.

  • Time Management: The capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.

  • Organization: A commitment to maintaining organized systems for project files, assets, and templates.

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to drive projects from concept to completion.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe CC (After Effects), Figma, Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, and Rive, along with experience utilizing AI platforms to enhance creativity and efficiency.

  • Business Alignment: The ability to generate creative solutions that directly align with business goals.

  • Mindset: A growth-oriented attitude and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

What Shapes this Company
  • Effective Communication: We are clear, concise and quick to respond.

  • Learn-it-all: We are always willing to learn and get better.

  • Hustle: We are creative and unrelenting, always finding a way.

  • Accountability: We act in the company's best interest and meet commitments.

  • Lead at all levels: We are hands-on, and we set a clear vision.
