Job Summary: The Neogard Senior Key Account Manager, Flooring Specialist, will drive sales and promote Neogard’s high-performance flooring solutions across the West Coast United States and Western Canada (California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska).   This role involves managing and expanding relationships with key stakeholders including contractors, architects, owners, engineers, and other decision-makers within the commercial construction and resinous flooring industries. The individual will actively support existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, develop Neogard Specifications with A/E community, and lead initiatives to position Neogard as the leading choice for liquid-applied flooring systems. As a senior sales position, this role will also include mentoring Neogard Account managers in local territories and sharing expertise in liquid coating applications for flooring. 

 

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • This territory includes but is not limited to the locations listed 

  • Use CRM to organize and monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, and project progress. 

  • Provide technical knowledge, sales ability, field assistance and an overall ability to use independent representatives, distributors Where applicable and contractors to their maximum capacity to promote and sell Neogard products. 

  • Establish direct contact with owners, architects, engineers, design professionals, and consultants to promote and sell Neogard products. 

  • Cultivate a collaborative relationship with independent representatives, distributors where applicable, and contractors as well as field sales personnel. 

  • Provide active support in trade organizations, shows, and committees. 

  • Deliver presentations and hands on demonstrations to prospective clients and contractors, and assist Neogard Account managers in their presentations. 

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 7+ plus years of successful sales experience in resinous floor coatings and general construction materials. 

  • Must have experience and ability to work with resinous flooring products in a jobsite / field environment.  

  • Hands on Experience in resinous flooring is preferred 

  • Must possess strong presentation skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. 

  • Willing to travel up to 60% of the time to meet job requirements. 

  • Must be located in a geographic location within the territory.  

  • Proficient understanding of Polymeric Flooring Technology. 

  • Familiar with Neogard products, processes, and sales procedures. 

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
