Team Overview
Team is responsible for the feature development for Rental Screening web-based applications. The product is on Microsoft technology stack with .NET Core, C#, Angular, Web API, and SQL Server. Product web based with web/micro service based backend engine.Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of core OOPS concepts.
• Proficiency with C# and ASP.Net.
• Knowledge of .Net Frameworks.
• Knowledge of MVC and .Net Core Framework.
• Web API Services – RESTFUL and SOAP.
• ADO.NET and Entity Framework.
• UI Framework – Angular.
• Good Knowledge in SQL Server.
• Experience using source controls such as GIT and TFS
Good to have Skills:
• Basic knowledge in cloud. Preferred AWS.
• Basic knowledge in project life cycle process
• Basics of Security Concepts This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced developer with significant background in .NET software development. Your success in this position will depend on your outstanding communication skills as well as your ability to work in an environment characterized by rapid change, the need for cross department collaboration, and with evolving goals. Extensive experience in .NET development processes, practices, tools and environments is a must, as is an intimate knowledge of software development lifecycle processes.
Key responsibilities include: gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems. Developing design and functional specifications, installation and solutions documentation, producing deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assisting with post implementation support and system enhancements. This position requires expert knowledge of C#, SQL Server, .Net Core, and Web API technologies.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
How You'll Contribute:
- Coding: With limited direction, develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install moderately complex software programs. Applies structured programming techniques and adhere to coding standards. Use knowledge of available utilities to simplify tasks. Apply structured programming techniques and adheres to coding standards, although some deviation from the standards may be expected for particular development efforts. Participates in code walkthroughs.
- Analysis/Design: Analyze moderately complex technical requirements and make determinations for modifications of existing computer programs/modules or if new programs/modules need to be developed for a specific application, system, and/or database. Independently analyze and document test results to ensure that programs are meeting the technical requirements. Partner with designers to update technical requirements documentation and make recommendations for re-design and/or re-coding of programs that do meet desired specifications.
- Documentation: Develop program specifications and flowcharts, (data flows, job flows, etc.), for stand-alone programs or systems. Prepare concise internal program documentation on program development and revisions. Prepare on-line help, FAQs, user guides and operational instruction manuals.
- Communication: Conveys problems, solutions, updates and project status to peers, customers and management. Develops and maintains program, systems and user documentation.
- Planning: Prepare time estimates for assigned tasks. Attends post-implementation reviews.
What You’ll Bring:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related discipline, or an equivalent educational and work experience, with typically up to 10+ years of software development experience in Microsoft tools and technologies, including: .NET Web and Web API application development using C#, .NET, Web API, Angular, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience developing data-driven applications (SQL Server/ Stored Procedures / Views / Functions).
- Experience with database integration and ORM tools (EF, etc.)
- Understanding of JavaScript libraries (e.g., Angular, React, etc.)
- Experience applying design patterns
- Experience building unit tests using DI, mocks, etc.
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Must be self-directed and proactive; think beyond immediate problem.

- Experience with .NET/TFS/GIT build automation
- Experience with test automation (data-driven web service testing, Coded UI)
