Team Overview

We are looking for an FP&A Sr. Analyst for Global FP&A team in TransUnion’s Global Capability Center based out of Pune, India. This role will be part of the team which delivers FP&A related work to our global business/ segments on a matrix basis. The individual will support and partner with the respective business/ segment FP&A team primarily in the U.S. The role will be focused on supporting FP&A capabilities by documenting processes and assisting in the establishment of the process foundation, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and looking for ways of continuous improvement. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Understand and assist in preparation of budgeting, forecasting financial performance, and conducting variance analysis.
• Understand and assist in monitoring and managing budgets to ensure financial targets are met and develop an understanding of insights on deviations.
• Understand and assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial management reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks that may impact the company's performance.
• Understand and assist in preparation of financial models to analyze various scenarios that support decision-making.
• Understand and assist in preparation of cost analysis to optimize expenses and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Understand and assist in preparation of utilizing financial data to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and support decision-making.
• Prepare the documentation for the processes and keep looking for avenues of continuous improvement
• Completing the assigned work accurately & in a timely manner
• Ensure completion of deliverables as part of the corporate/ segment accounting close, monthly forecasting, quarterly earnings, and annual planning processes
• Ensure that deliverables adhere to a high standard for quality and consistently meet the deadlines that facilitate the global processes
• Be a team player and proactively raise a flag to avoid issues relating to accuracy or timeliness
• Align with team priorities and ensure that SLAs are met
• Participate in initiatives across the GCC, especially in FP&A team
• Keep looking for areas of improvement for efficiency, standardization, and scale
• Work towards learning new skills which align with FP&A delivery
