Fiber and Mobility Solutions

AI is transforming how the world works, and every model, data center, and cloud platform behind it requires enormous amounts of network connectivity. Whether High Capacity Fiber or Mobility solutions, AT&T is moving fast to meet that demand. Join a growing team of sales professionals that partner with the world's leading technology companies to deliver the network solutions their AI infrastructure depends on.

As a New Business Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of B2B sellers focused on winning new logos with startups and high growth technology companies. This role is designed for an experienced sales leader who thrives on pursuit, can build a disciplined prospecting engine, and can turn market insight into targeted pursuit strategies, compelling executive outreach, and sustainable new-customer revenue growth. You will lead your team to open new doors, win competitive deals, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Earn with confidence, upside, and visibility into your total opportunity.
This role offers a competitive base salary, performance-based commission, and meaningful earning upside tied directly to sales results. At target performance, total annual earnings are expected to range from $188,600 to $247,800, with the opportunity for top performers to exceed target based on quota achievement, new revenue growth, and strength of pipeline execution.

Your earnings will be driven by how effectively you build and manage enterprise opportunities, develop customer relationships, advance complex solutions, and close business. High-performing sellers who consistently create qualified pipeline, expand account potential, and deliver results can accelerate earnings to $350,000 or more while building long-term career momentum within AT&T.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead a hunter sales team: Own team execution against new logo, pipeline creation, and revenue goals across an assigned territory of technology sector prospects, with emphasis on winning net-new customers rather than managing existing accounts.
  • Build your team: Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop hunter-minded sales professionals across experience levels; reinforce accountability, resilience, knowledge sharing, inclusive leadership, and consistent application of company policies.
  • Execute on new logo pursuit strategies: Coach sellers to identify target contacts, build prospecting and territory plans, map buying groups, and create pursuit strategies that displace competitors and secure new logo relationships for AT&T.
  • Drive prospecting discipline: Set clear activity and pipeline-generation standards, and coach sellers on outbound outreach, cold and warm engagement, social selling, referrals, and persistence to build a consistently healthy pipeline.
  • Engage executive decision makers: Guide the team in earning first meetings with senior prospects, leading effective discovery, and delivering outcome-focused conversations that connect AT&T capabilities to a prospect’s strategic business priorities.
  • Lead sales performance: Set clear expectations, inspect pipeline coverage, conversion, and forecast quality, monitor performance metrics, and take timely action to improve execution against new logo and financial targets.
  • Apply technology sector insight: Use knowledge of tech industry business models, market dynamics, and priorities to sharpen customer relevance and competitive positioning.
  • Win complex deals: Partner with technical, product, pricing, operations, and other cross-functional teams to shape competitive proposals and close complex B2B opportunities with new customers.
  • Manage resources and risk: Manage budgets and resource allocation within established authority, focus the team on the highest-potential prospects, escalate material execution risks, and exercise sound judgment in resolving complex issues.
  • Measure and communicate results: Maintain disciplined operating rhythms, including one-to-ones, pipeline and pursuit reviews, forecast reviews, and performance coaching, and communicate progress, wins, risks, and actions to leadership and partners.

What you’ll bring:
  • 8+ years of related sales experience, including experience in complex B2B or enterprise new business sales environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or developing quota-carrying hunter sellers and improving execution against measurable new logo goals.
  • Proven track record of new logo acquisition, including building pipeline from scratch, prospecting into new accounts, and winning competitive displacements.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with senior prospects and guide complex, multi-stakeholder sales decisions from first outreach through close.
  • Strong product, pricing, pipeline, forecasting, and performance-management capability, with sound judgment in resolving complex customer and business issues.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical, solution, product, pricing, operations, and leadership teams to win and onboard new customers.
  • Ability to use market, prospect, and performance insights to prioritize target accounts, allocate resources, and improve team results.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)

Supervisor: Yes

Highly Desirable:
  • Experience building and managing new logo motions with technology startups and high growth tech companies, including outbound prospecting campaigns, executive outreach, and solution selling.
