Job Description

Position Overview

The Enrollment and Outreach Specialist plays a key role in connecting students and families with Pathways in Education and supporting them through the enrollment process. This position focuses on student recruitment, community outreach, family engagement, and enrollment support, while collaborating with school leadership and the Marketing Department.


The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable building relationships with families, conducting outreach in the community, leading information sessions and tours, and working independently in a results-oriented environment.


  • Hours: Full-time
  • Pay Range: $20.00–$23.25/hour
  • Hybrid Work Schedule: In-person at the Mesa, Arizona campus two days per week (currently Monday and Wednesday), with the remaining workdays performed remotely.
  • Additional Expectations: Additional in-person workdays, travel, or support responsibilities may be required as determined by the employee's supervisor.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*

  • Respond to all new inquiries quickly and maintain consistent communication with all students/parents throughout the admissions process. 
  • Complete the required numbers of outbound calls per day to reach prospective students.
  • Conduct telephone-based and on site consultations to prospective students and parents on their educational goals. 
  • Review programs with parents/student and advise them on admission requirements
  • Ensure that all admission paperwork is completed and filed appropriately. 
  • Accurately enter new student information into the CRM system.
  • Maintain targeted conversion metrics at each stage of the admission process.
  • Recruit students who left the program and assist with getting the student educational support. 
  • Attend regularly scheduled internal meetings to monitor enrollment goals, review policy and procedures, and develop new strategies for recruitment.
  • Analyze recruitment and retention data and make strategic recommendations to Leadership.
  • Travel on behalf of the school for recruitment and other school related events.
  • Ensure students/parents meet with Student Advisors to outline Program Completion Plans.
  • Create community partnerships for student recruitment and attend community events.
  • Stay informed of current trends and changes in the industry.  
  • Clearly articulate the mission and value of Pathways in Education.
  • Responsible for making recommendations using tracked data.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to travel and work alternate hours including weekend and evenings as necessary. 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year customer service, telemarketing or sales experiences (including admission experience) 
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing and be able to speak publicly. 
  • Possess high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to organize effectively. 
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Gmail Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
