We're on a mission to end the debt cycle—and help our customers and their communities unlock economic mobility for generations to come. Join the team that's making our goal a reality. At Possible, we're building a new type of consumer finance company. One that helps our customers stay out of debt rather than profiting from them staying in it. As a Public Benefit Corporation, our mission and responsibility are to help communities unlock economic mobility—with affordable credit products designed to improve financial health.

Founded in 2017, our lead VCs are Canvas and Union Square Ventures. We are a fully distributed company with a global workforce, though this particular role is based in our Seattle office on a hybrid schedule (details below). We have over 100,000 reviews on the App Store with a 4.8-star average rating. Just as we are committed to building a new type of consumer finance company, we are equally dedicated to the employee experience.

Team Introduction:

Our Operations team keeps Possible running behind the scenes: processing customer, regulatory, and government communications accurately and on time, every day. As we grow, this team ensures that growth never comes at the expense of the reliability our customers and regulators depend on.

The Role & Responsibilities:

As an Operations Associate, you'll own the daily flow of mail, disputes, and chargebacks that keep our operations compliant and our customers taken care of. You'll build fluency across core workflows, including in-person mail handling, dispute resolution, physical payment processing, credit disputes, and money order processing, and you'll take ownership of your work end-to-end, from spotting an issue to seeing it resolved. We're looking for someone who holds themselves to a high standard of accuracy and consistency because, in a regulated fintech environment, the details matter. You'll get hands-on training and ongoing mentorship as you build these skills, and this role is a starting point for growth into Operations II or specialist tracks.

Requirements:

No specific tools or technical background are required on day one. We'll train you on our systems. You represent the voice of the customer internally and work well across teams such as Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering to get things done. You care about the quality of your output and understand what it means to consistently hit a service-level target. You're comfortable solving problems on the fly and bringing creative ideas to improve how the team works, even when the path isn't fully mapped out yet.

What We Offer:

Possible Finance is on a mission to help communities break the debt cycle and unlock economic mobility for generations to come. With the backing of our venture investors (Union Square Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Unlock Venture Partners), a loyal following of hundreds of thousands of customers, and a fantastic team, we're unwavering in our fight for financial fairness. As one of only a few fintech Public Benefit Corporations, we've baked our dual commitment to building a profitable and socially impactful company right into our charter; we only succeed when our customers do too. If you'd like to help us ship financial products that protect consumers from predatory lending practices and promote financial health, give us a shout.

This is a Hybrid position. We work in the office three days a week. Our office is in downtown Seattle.

This is a non-exempt role. The annual compensation target range for this role is $58,080 to $66,000. We also offer significant stock options, full benefits, a bonus plan, commuting benefits, and a very desirable office with free drinks and food options.
