First Entertainment is seeking a motivated Operations Representative to join our Operations team and support a variety of back‑office processing functions across multiple desks. While representatives may be assigned a primary desk, the position is cross‑functional. As the Operations Representative, you will be responsible for areas such as ACH, Wires, Check 21, Fiduciary Servicing, Legal Processing, Overdraft Solutions, Unclaimed Property, or Mobile/ATM Deposits.
The Operations Representative is responsible for performing accurate, timely, and compliant processing of member transactions, maintenance requests, and operational workflows. This role focuses on transaction processing, exception handling, and strict adherence to regulatory and procedural standards. Operations Representatives ensure operational accuracy, minimize risk, and deliver consistent member experience across assigned workflows.
This full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the Associate Manager, Operations is based in Hollywood, CA. The targeted hourly pay for the role in California is between $26 and $32.
Responsibilities
· Process daily work queues with accuracy and within established service level agreements.
· Perform account updates, corrections, and verification steps in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
· Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, maintaining audit-ready documentation and accurate electronic records.
· Complete exception processing and research to resolve discrepancies, escalating irregularities or potential risks appropriately.
· Identify opportunities and suggest practical ideas to improve everyday tasks, workflows, accuracy, efficiency, or clarity within assigned desks.
· Support a culture of continuous improvement by proactively communicating pain points, recurring issues, or patterns.
· Follow up with members regarding account changes or identified oversights to ensure full understanding, provide clarification, and obtain appropriate approvals.
· Apply federal/state regulations and internal procedures to all work performed, handling sensitive member information with strict confidentiality.
· Participate in cross-training to support multiple desks as operational needs evolve.
· Contribute to a consistent, collaborative, and service‑oriented environment.
· Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
· 1-2 years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field preferred.
· In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.
· Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.
· Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Working experience in Symitar for Windows (Episys) preferred.
