Teak seeks a strategic, data-driven Optimization Lead to spearhead our groundbreaking initiative that drives revenue growth for both Teak and our customers through continuous experimentation and experience optimization. This is a foundational role that will shape how we embed optimization into Teak's DNA and establish us as an indispensable growth partner to our customers.

As the first leader of this program, you'll operate in a high-autonomy, high-impact environment, building our testing capabilities from the ground up while driving immediate results. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can design sophisticated experiments, analyze complex data, and translate insights into scalable processes that unlock revenue opportunities exceeding seven figures.

What You'll DoStrategic Leadership & Program Development
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across pricing, copy, layout, consumer benefits, and user experience elements.
  • Build repeatable, scalable testing infrastructure and data reporting capabilities that support both internal revenue attribution and customer reporting.
  • Develop optimization playbooks and methodologies that can be scaled across our entire customer base.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop go-to-market plans and assets to enable new logo sales and engage existing customers with optimization services.
Testing & Analytics Excellence
  • Lead end-to-end A/B and multivariate testing programs, from hypothesis development through implementation and analysis.
  • Design statistically sound experiments that isolate revenue impact and provide actionable insights.
  • Working with our data team, build dashboards and reporting systems for internal stakeholders and customer-facing deliverables.
  • Establish measurement frameworks to track program-attributed revenue growth, conversion rates, and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Revenue, and Marketing teams to execute tests without organizational friction.
  • Coordinate with Account Relationship Managers (ARMs) to enhance capabilities that support optimization engagements.
  • Work with legal and business development teams to refine contract language and business models that enable program success.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team on reporting cadence and strategic decision-making.
Customer Engagement & Growth
  • Analyze existing customer base to develop test-to-opportunity mapping and prioritization frameworks.
  • Create compelling value propositions for different stakeholder types (executives, product teams, marketing, revenue).
  • Lead customer conversations to introduce optimization programs and drive adoption.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in growth, conversion rate optimization, or product management roles with demonstrable experience running sophisticated testing programs.
  • Deep expertise in A/B and multivariate testing methodologies, including statistical analysis, test design, and results interpretation.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
    • Expertise in SQL (Postgres preferred) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, working with medium-large data sets (1 million+ rows).
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python and R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
    • Solid understanding of data visualization techniques and tools like Domo (preferred), Tableau, Power BI, etc.
    • Apply AI/ML-driven approaches to guide optimization strategies, enabling customer segmentation, predictive forecasting, and scalable experimentation.
  • Ability to distill complex user behavior into actionable insights and recommendations.Product merchandising and UX instincts with an understanding of how messaging, design, and pricing affect consumer behavior.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience managing complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Can balance immediate testing opportunities with long-term program scalability and customer relationship impact.
  • Skilled at presenting findings to both technical and executive audiences, internally and with customers.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high accountability for revenue impact.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments while building structure and improving processes over time.
  • This is a remote position. Travel to Teak Hubs in Phoenix, San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, or Chicago may be required as necessary.
Preferred Background
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce products
  • Background in pricing strategy and revenue optimization
  • Growth hacking or performance marketing experience
  • Experience with experimentation platforms and analytics tools
  • Previous experience building programs or processes from 0 to 1
