Serve as the primary Oracle Core HR consultant for enterprise clients by diagnosing issues, mapping business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality, configuring and documenting solutions, leading testing and knowledge transfer, and delivering enhancements. Manage client expectations, relationships, satisfaction, renewals, and account growth while supporting sales, presenting recommendations, and independently leading mid-sized engagements.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Principal Consultant, Client Services at Argano, you'll be the go-to Core HR problem-solver for mid-to-large enterprises — diagnosing issues, untangling complex configurations, and keeping mission-critical HR systems running smoothly long after go-live. You'll manage and strengthen client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continued business, while providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams alike, along with advanced technical support and configuration when needed. Acting as the bridge between the client and Argano, you'll make sure client needs are understood and met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain regular communication with mid- to large-size clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Align client practices and procedures with validated HCM Cloud methods, troubleshooting issues and proposing best-practice solutions.
- Identify business requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud functionality, closing any functionality gaps through process or design.
- Configure Oracle Cloud to meet client requirements and document application set-ups.
- Lead and present to clients and internally, advising on options, risks, and impacts to other processes or systems.
- Manage scope and client expectations across assignments and day-to-day activities.
- Lead and support clients through the execution of test scripts.
- Participate in internal forums for training, teamwork, issue resolution, and innovative design.
- Provide knowledge transfer to clients and act as a thought leader in the Oracle Cloud space, driving innovative solutions.
- Create specification documents for technical object development.
- Continually implement, test, and maintain enhancements, reconfigurations, and new functionality or modules.
- Manage and grow client accounts — including contract renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and account plans — to maximize value for both the client and Argano.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing any issues or complaints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and project managers to align client needs with Argano’s offerings.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management and clients on key performance metrics and account status.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 - 10 years of Client Services experience or in a related field.
- Module-specific experience in Core HR.
- 3 full life cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Ability to understand fundamental system design and purpose.
- Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Oracle certified in your modules of expertise, preferred.
- Redwood implementation and upgrade experience highly preferred.
- Experience managing and delivering projects independently - including planning, estimating, and leading mid-size client engagements.
- Validated ability to support sales as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of challenges commonly faced by client and support teams.
- Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple clients.
- Experience providing complex solutions to clients.
- Extensive expertise across multiple technical domains and broad IT knowledge.
- Proven track record of successful project management and client satisfaction.
