We are looking for an experienced Architect to lead and manage the support and enhancement for Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Cost Management!
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with deep business process understanding to drive efficiency, scalability, and value across finance and supply chain operations ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and margin visibility across the supply chain. The position partners closely with finance, supply chain, manufacturing operations and engineering/NPI teams to model cost structures and support decision making throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and configure Oracle Fusion Cost Management for semiconductor flows from wafter to finished goods distribution for FPGA products.
Set up and maintain standard costing for wafers, dies, assemblies and finished FPGA parts, including cost elements related to foundry, OSAT, test, royalties, and licenses.
Build and maintain cost profiles and valuation structures that reflect multi‑stage semiconductor manufacturing.
Integrate Cost Management with Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management, and General Ledger to capture material, conversion, and overhead costs.
Support NPI and engineering by setting up prototype/engineering items and lots.
Analyze cost variances related to wafers, yields, scrap, rework, and test failures, and provide root‑cause insights and recommendations to operations, planning, and finance.
Develop and maintain cost reports and dashboards and partner with business teams to simulate cost impacts.
Own period close activities for Cost Management and support cost accounting and reconcile inventory by location and stage and align COGS and inventory with General Ledger.
Salary Range
The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
10+ years' experience in hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cost Management, Inventory, and Procurement in discrete manufacturing, ideally in semiconductor, FPGA or related high‑tech hardware.
Solid understanding of semiconductor cost structures.
Background in cost accounting and experience configuring and troubleshooting subledger accounting for manufacturing and inventory transactions, and reconciling cost distributions to General Ledger.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and external manufacturing partners such as foundries, OSATs and 3PLs.
Experience with fabless semiconductor business models and exposure to NPI/engineering build processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Semiconductor industry experience desirable
Experience in working with teams for large-scale global systems implementations across multiple countries.
Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Additional Information:
Position will require working with global teams who are based in different time zones.
Position may require occasional travel to Altera offices as required.
