The Outbound Systems Lead will design and maintain outbound systems to generate qualified meetings, focusing on deliverability, messaging frameworks, and data workflows.

Summary
We are seeking a fractional specialist to design, build, and maintain a high-performing outbound system that consistently generates qualified meetings. This role is critical to transforming outbound outreach into a reliable, scalable growth channel—driving measurable impact without compromising deliverability or brand integrity. You’ll work closely with the Founder to establish robust infrastructure, data workflows, messaging frameworks, and performance tracking, ensuring every touchpoint is strategic, compliant, and optimized for results. This is a high-ownership position ideal for a self-driven expert passionate about execution, data-driven iteration, and growth at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage outbound infrastructure including domain/inbox strategy, warmup protocols, sending rules, and bounce/spam control.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deliverability issues such as placement problems, reputation dips, and provider changes.
- Define and refine ICP segmentation using persona, industry, company size, and geo targeting; build and maintain data sourcing and enrichment workflows (e.g., Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay).
- Establish QA standards for data hygiene, including deduplication, exclusions, and title/industry validation.
- Design repeatable messaging frameworks for email and LinkedIn outreach, including templates, personalization rules, and SOPs.
- Implement and test outreach cadences across segments and angles; document learnings and iterate based on performance.
- Deliver weekly reporting focused on qualified meetings held, with actionable recommendations to improve volume and quality.

- Proven experience building and scaling outbound systems from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of email deliverability, inbox placement, and sender reputation management.
- Proficiency with sales intelligence and outreach tools (e.g., Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, sequence platforms).
- Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking and optimizing outbound funnel metrics.
- Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance research, personalization, and workflow automation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a remote, fractional capacity.

- Meeting-to-opportunity conversion rate (optional quality metric)
Compensation
- Monthly retainer (for agreed hours)
- Performance bonus tied to achieving “Qualified Meetings Held” targets (monthly), with optional accelerators for exceeding target
