We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfilment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.
Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.
Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).
About the RoleSuno’s growth runs on paid social, and paid social runs on creative. This is the role that decides what that creative is and why: the strategist who turns audience insight into the concepts everyone else executes. You’ll lead the audience and market research that uncovers new angles, pain points, and use cases, then turn them into a steady backlog of concepts and briefs that designers and editors run with across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
This is a high-ownership role with real strategic latitude. You won’t be handed a brief and told to fill it, you’ll write the briefs. You’ll bring your own read on which audiences are worth chasing, what story wins them, and which formats to test, then move fast to test, iterate, and find what wins. Great work here is measured by performance, and you’ll see the results of your concepts quickly enough to act on them.
If you think in audiences and angles, read hook rate and hold rate as fluently as you spot a fresh one, and want your concepts running in front of a massive global audience within days, this one is for you.
What You’ll DoLead deep audience and market research to uncover new personas, pain points, and use cases worth targeting.
Turn that research into a steady backlog of net-new ad concepts, each with a clear rationale for why it should win.
Write sharp creative briefs that give designers, editors, and producers a clear direction to execute against.
Develop angles, hooks, and messaging built around how people actually behave on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Define what to test next and why, isolating variables so every result teaches us something.
Keep a deep bench of fresh ideas in flight to stay ahead of creative fatigue, so no single winner carries the account too long.
Partner with performance marketing managers to turn account needs into concrete creative direction.
Read performance signals and feed them back into sharper concepts, as bandwidth allows.
Must-Haves
Proven experience as a creative strategist in a high-volume, high-velocity performance creative environment.
A strong track record of paid social creative for live Meta and/or TikTok campaigns, with results you can speak to.
A real grasp of direct-response creative: audiences, angles, hooks, and why an ad wins or loses, not just how it looks.
Deep fluency in audience and market research, and the instinct to turn it into non-obvious angles.
The range to own strategy end to end and the scrappiness to write the hooks and do the research yourself. No task is beneath you.
A proactive, self-directed working style. You spot what’s missing and bring ideas without being asked.
Fluency in Motion (or a comparable creative analytics tool) to read what’s driving performance and act on it.
Comfort reading metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, and CTR, and turning them into the next round of concepts.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience at a consumer subscription app, a growth agency running paid social, or a DTC/ecommerce brand.
Comfort folding AI tools into research and ideation to move faster.
A love of music and an eye for culture.
Compensation
This is a contract role paying $80 to $120 per hour, depending on experience, at roughly 20 to 40 hours per week.
