As a Paid Social Specialist, you will manage paid social campaigns, optimize bidding strategies, ensure data integrity, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with creative teams to drive ROI for affiliate partners.
The Opportunity:
As a Paid Social Specialist, you are the technical architect of our performance marketing "pod." You will work as a peer alongside a Performance Creative Strategist to drive revenue for our affiliate publishing partners. While your partner focuses on the "what," you own the "how" and "where." You will manage the technical infrastructure, bidding logic, and audience targeting that ensure our high-quality content reaches the right user at the lowest possible cost.
This role is designed for a data-first marketer who thrives on technical precision. You will be responsible for the health of the funnel, ensuring that our tracking is bulletproof and our spending is optimized exclusively for ROI/ROAS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Buying & Execution: Manage the end-to-end setup of campaigns on Meta (primary) and TikTok (expansion), ensuring flawless technical execution and adherence to naming conventions.
- Technical Optimization: Constantly tune bidding strategies and budget distribution to maintain aggressive ROAS targets.
- Data Integrity: Monitor tracking infrastructure and UTM parameters. You are responsible for ensuring every click and conversion is accurately attributed.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor CTR and CVR trends daily. You will identify technical friction points in the funnel and present data-backed campaign concepts to your creative peer.
- Funnel Maintenance: Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to ensure that traffic is routing correctly to custom-built landing pages and that tracking signals are firing back to the platforms.
- Strategic Collaboration: Act as a strategic peer in the "pod," participating in weekly brainstorms where you bring technical "wins" (e.g., "This creative is scaling well and merits iteration") to inform the next round of creative production.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in paid social media buying, preferably in-house at a publisher or performance agency.
- Platform Mastery: Advanced expertise in Meta Ads Manager. Familiarity with TikTok Ads Manager is a significant plus.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and AI tools; you must be comfortable working with large datasets to find conversion trends and translating findings into actionable next steps.
- Affiliate Familiarity: Understanding of affiliate marketing dynamics (e.g., EPC, revenue share models, and third-party tracking) is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
