Who we areAbout Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Bridge is building financial infrastructure that makes money more programmable and global. The Financial Partnerships team develops the ecosystem that powers Bridge and Stripe’s stablecoin products and financial infrastructure.

The team works across Bridge and Stripe to develop strategic relationships with banks, exchanges, asset managers, liquidity providers, and stablecoin ecosystem partners. These partnerships support reserve management, liquidity, distribution, and card-related products for both businesses and their shared customers.

What you'll do

As a senior Partnership Development Manager, you will define and execute the financial-partnership strategy that powers Bridge and Stripe’s stablecoin products and financial infrastructure.

You will own a strategic ecosystem of financial-partner relationships across markets. You will turn market insight into durable, high-impact partnerships, from strategy and negotiation through launch, expansion, and ongoing performance management. You will work directly with senior Stripe leaders and external executives to make investment tradeoffs, align priorities, and shape long-term product and partnership strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead multi-year partnership strategy across reserves, liquidity, distribution, card-related products, and the stablecoin ecosystem, using market and commercial insight to shape Bridge and Stripe priorities
  • Own a strategic financial-partner ecosystem across markets, including partnership health, commercial performance, executive alignment, escalations, and expansion opportunities
  • Source, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and lead high-impact partnerships with banks, exchanges, asset managers, liquidity providers, and stablecoin ecosystem partners
  • Set end-to-end deal strategy for complex, novel, or multi-market partnerships with material financial, product, operational, or regulatory implications
  • Lead company-level tradeoffs across partner economics, customer needs, product requirements, operational readiness, risk, and long-term strategic value
  • Partner with Product, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to set requirements, align senior stakeholders, and execute shared priorities
  • Develop a differentiated point of view on financial services and digital assets, represent Stripe and Bridge with senior external stakeholders, and share expertise that strengthens the broader Partnerships organization
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, strategic finance, treasury, or a related field, including ownership of complex, high-impact external partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to independently set partnership strategy, influence senior executives, and drive cross-functional alignment on ambiguous, high-stakes company priorities
  • Track record of structuring, negotiating, and managing high-value, multi-year partnerships with material strategic, financial, product, operational, or regulatory implications
  • Deep experience working with financial institutions or infrastructure providers, such as banks, exchanges, asset managers, market makers, liquidity providers, payments companies, or stablecoin ecosystem participants
  • Strong commercial judgment and experience leading both commercial and technical partnership conversations with senior internal and external stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in stablecoins, crypto, card issuing, or stablecoin-linked card programs
  • Experience developing partnership strategy across multiple markets or partner types
  • Experience representing a company with industry groups, at conferences, or with senior external executives
  • Experience mentoring or guiding peers on partnership strategy, complex negotiations, or cross-functional execution
