The role & it's impact:

As a Sales Development Representative, you are the first point of contact for new Partners, serving as a vital expression of the Xero brand. You will play a critical role in qualifying leads and onboarding accountants and bookkeepers into our Partner Program, ensuring they have a beautiful first experience with our technology.

In this role your work directly supports Xero's expansion into new verticals by sourcing outbound pipelines and coordinating sales events. By identifying key decision-makers and conducting thorough discovery, you create the foundation for long-term success and help small businesses become more efficient every day.


The team & how they connect:

You will be part of a collaborative sales team that focuses on driving growth through a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting. The team works closely together to refine lead generation strategies and ensure a smooth handover process to our Account Executives, maintaining a high standard of care for our Partner firms.


Initially, you will focus on:

  • Establishing a presence in a new vertical through targeted outbound sourcing

  • Qualifying a high volume of inbound leads to introduce them to our Partner products

  • Managing and updating prospecting records within Salesforce to enable better data analysis

  • Supporting the wider team with the coordination and execution of sales-led events
