About the Team

OpenAI's Marketing team helps customers understand, adopt, and get value from OpenAI's products and platform. Within Ads Marketing, Partner Marketing is responsible for building the ecosystem that helps advertisers access, activate, measure, and grow on ChatGPT through the partners they already work with.

Our team brings that ecosystem to life by meeting advertisers where they already work, while also helping them discover new platforms and capabilities that can strengthen their advertising strategy. We partner with technology, measurement, agency, and other strategic partners to make it easier for advertisers to access ChatGPT Ads, launch and optimize campaigns, measure performance, and grow their investment over time.

About the Role

ChatGPT Ads is creating a new environment for how people discover products, evaluate options, and make decisions. As advertising in ChatGPT grows, our partner ecosystem will play a critical role in helping advertisers access, measure, and get more value from this new channel.

We’re looking for an experienced individual to focus on ads partner marketing to help build and scale the partner marketing function for ChatGPT Ads. In this role, you will develop the strategy, programs, and go-to-market frameworks that activate our ecosystem of technology, measurement, and other strategic partners.

You will work closely with partners ranging from global advertising platforms and measurement companies and emerging technology providers. Your goal will be to turn partnerships into meaningful business impact by helping partners bring advertisers onto ChatGPT Ads, accelerate adoption, increase investment, and demonstrate the value of advertising in a conversational environment.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of partnerships, product marketing, sales, communications, and growth. You will help define how we bring partners to market, where we invest, and how we scale successful programs as the ecosystem grows.

In this role, you will:

  • Support our overall ecosystem strategy in identifying partners, programs, and investments that can drive advertiser adoption, revenue, and ecosystem growth.

  • Develop differentiated go-to-market strategies across technology, measurement, and other strategic partner segments.

  • Build and scale partner marketing frameworks that prioritize resources based on partner potential, advertiser impact, and business opportunity.

  • Design and execute integrated co-marketing programs across launches, campaigns, events, content, webinars, customer stories, and other demand-generation channels.

  • Partner with product and our partnerships teams to translate strategic relationships and product integrations into compelling advertiser-facing value propositions.

  • Drive advertiser acquisition and activation through partners, including programs designed to onboard new advertisers, grow spend, and accelerate adoption of new capabilities.

  • Create scalable partner enablement programs and marketing materials that help partner sales and customer teams confidently position and sell ChatGPT Ads.

  • Develop joint messaging, positioning, launch narratives, and marketing assets in close partnership with Product Marketing, Communications, Product, Legal, and Brand.

  • Identify and develop customer and partner stories that demonstrate how advertisers are using ChatGPT Ads and the impact of conversational advertising across the customer journey.

  • Establish measurement frameworks for partner marketing, connecting programs to advertiser activation, pipeline, revenue, product adoption, and other business outcomes.

  • Build repeatable processes for partner launches and co-marketing so the organization can support a rapidly expanding ecosystem without sacrificing quality or impact.

  • Serve as a strategic marketing advisor to priority partners, helping them identify opportunities to bring ChatGPT Ads into their broader customer and go-to-market strategies.

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 8+ years experience in partner marketing, platform marketing, product marketing, ecosystem marketing, or a related role in advertising or technology.

  • Understand the digital advertising ecosystem and how advertisers work across buying platforms, agencies, measurement providers, and marketing technology.

  • Have experience building partner programs from the ground up and turning one-off partnerships into scalable go-to-market motions.

  • Can move comfortably between strategy and execution, from defining an ecosystem framework to launching a campaign with a partner.

  • Are highly cross-functional and know how to align teams with different incentives, priorities, and ways of working.

  • Have strong positioning and storytelling instincts and can translate technical integrations into simple, compelling customer value.

  • Have experience developing and executing external-facing programs, including events, webinars, partner activations, and other customer-facing initiatives.

  • Use data to determine where to invest, which programs to scale, and whether marketing activity is translating into meaningful business outcomes.

  • Are comfortable operating in an emerging category where the playbook is still being written.

  • Have experience working with senior executives and external partners and can represent the business with credibility in high-visibility situations.

  • Are excited by the opportunity to help define how advertising evolves as conversational AI becomes a more important part of the customer journey.
