About the Team

The B2B Marketing team helps businesses understand, adopt, and get value from OpenAI’s products. B2B marketing is a major and growing priority as we scale our work with companies, developers, and institutions around the world.

The team works across field marketing, campaigns, customer storytelling, thought leadership, events, lifecycle programs, and executive communications. We partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Product Marketing, Communications, Finance, Recruiting, and company leadership to build programs that drive durable growth across enterprise and business audiences.

About the Role

We are hiring a Partner Marketing Manager to own and execute OpenAI’s joint go-to-market plan with AWS. This role will translate shared priorities into integrated programs across co-sell, marketplace, campaigns, field activations, customer proof, enablement, and executive engagement that accelerate adoption and drive measurable business impact.

You will work closely with Partnerships, Sales, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Communications, and AWS stakeholders to move plans from strategy through execution. This is a highly cross-functional individual contributor role with no people-management responsibility, built for someone who thrives in ambiguity, works through influence, and creates clarity across complex stakeholder environments.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, and in office three days a week. Occasional travel will be required.

In this role, you will:

  • Create and execute the joint go-to-market plan with AWS across co-sell, marketplace, campaigns, field activations, customer proof, enablement, and executive engagement, with clear goals for adoption, pipeline, and revenue impact.

  • Build clear partner narratives, messaging, and positioning for OpenAI and AWS solutions, joint value propositions, and shared customer outcomes.

  • Launch and scale co-marketing programs across campaigns, webinars, customer stories, executive events, field activations, thought leadership, and demand generation.

  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Communications to align priorities, investment, and execution.

  • Enable internal and AWS-facing teams with messaging frameworks, partner collateral, customer proof points, and sales enablement materials.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across OpenAI and AWS marketing, alliances, product, sales, and executive stakeholders.

  • Track program impact across pipeline, sourced or influenced revenue, adoption, engagement, and partner performance.

  • Help establish scalable operating mechanisms, processes, and best practices for strategic partner marketing.

You might thrive in this role, if you:

  • Bring 10+ years of experience in partner marketing, product marketing, strategic alliances, ecosystem marketing, or enterprise go-to-market roles.

  • Have experience developing and executing joint go-to-market programs with a major cloud, technology, or enterprise platform partner; AWS experience is a plus.

  • Strong storytelling and messaging skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into compelling customer value.

  • Proven ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations and levels.

  • Experience building and scaling integrated marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong executive presence and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent program management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring campaign and partnership performance through pipeline, adoption, engagement, or revenue metrics.

  • Passion for AI and excitement about shaping how businesses adopt transformative technologies.
