About The Role

The Partner Product Marketing Manager crafts the narrative for G2's partnerships and Buyer Intent product line, translating complex integrations into clear value propositions and sales enablement. Partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Partnerships, this role aligns market insights with product strategy to drive partner adoption and remove usage barriers.

In This Role, You Will:

The Partner Product Marketing Manager works closely with Partnerships, Product, Sales, Marketing, and the Senior Partner Marketing Manager to translate complex technical integrations, data partnerships, and joint offerings into a clear “better together” story. The role helps define why G2 and a partner’s capabilities are more valuable together, the customer problems they solve, and the outcomes they enable.

This role is focused on our partners, along with our Buyer Intent product line. G2’s partnerships, including technology integrations, data relationships, and channel and ecosystem partners, are a growing way to put G2 buyer intent data in front of buyers inside the tools they already use. The Partner Product Marketing Manager owns customer and market insight, positioning, messaging, joint value propositions, and sales and partner enablement for G2’s partner offerings. This role also represents the voice of the customer to Partnerships and Product, helping those teams understand customer needs, adoption barriers, and opportunities.

You will work side by side with the Partnerships team, who own the relationships and deal structure, and with the Growth Marketing Senior Partner Marketer, who owns partnership marketing strategy and activation. You are the strategic and storytelling counterpart to both.

Partner go-to-market Strategy:

  • Develop and validate positioning, messaging, joint value propositions, and priority customer use cases for each partner offering.

  • Own messaging strategy and enablement readiness for partner-related feature launches, and identify the core narrative, proof points, and sales materials required. Partner with the partner marketer on the marketing launch plan and with Product and Partnerships on offering readiness.

  • Assist Partnerships with prioritization by defining the market case for each partner (audience, differentiation, and expected customer value).

  • Draft workflow guides, technical docs, and setup resources with Partnership and Product teams, maintaining content ownership while technical leads validate accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain the core content G2 sellers and partner teams need to understand, position, sell, and promote our joint offerings, including joint value propositions, ‘better together’ narratives, pitch decks, one-pagers, FAQs, and materials.

  • Create content for partner audiences, such as partner sales teams, solutions engineers, and partner marketing contacts, not just G2’s own.

  • Keep all partner content consistent with G2’s brand voice and core Buyer Intent positioning.

  • Work with Sales Enablement to build and deliver internal and partner enablement: pitch guidance, battlecards, objection handling, integration use cases, and customer proof points.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Partner Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing, and Events to develop content and enablement for partner launches, training sessions, and G2’s presence at partner events.

  • Define positioning, messaging, customer evidence, and subject-matter content for partner events, making sure it ties back to the partner’s GTM strategy.

  • Manage Partnerfleet and product messaging across partner pages, marketplace listings, and docs. Set listing standards, assist partners with G2 pages, and keep resources up to date.

Supporting Buyer Intent and other Partner Launches:

  • Define the target customer profile, messaging, and positioning for Buyer Intent features and other partner-based features across the full suite to differentiate our offering in the market.

  • Develop comprehensive GTM launch plans across all customer-facing channels, aligning product messaging with key buyer pain points

  • Own positioning, messaging, customer use-case validation, and sales and partner enablement for each data-enabled partner offering. Equip the partner marketer to develop the marketing launch and activation plan that best addresses the customer's pain points and market opportunity.

  • Work with Buyer Intent Product and Partnerships to determine how G2 buyer intent data can power a partner’s platform or workflow, and which use cases create the most customer value.

  • Translate that data connection into a clear story for the partner’s customers and for G2’s sellers: what the data is, how it shows up in the partner’s product, and what outcome it drives.

Customer, Sales, and Market Insight:

  • Establish an ongoing feedback loop through customer interviews, sales conversations, win/loss analysis, partner feedback, and competitive research.

  • Analyze partner adoption data and cross-functional feedback with Product, Partnerships, and CS to identify usage barriers. Use these insights to optimize onboarding, enablement, and joint adoption programs.

  • Synthesize unmet needs, objections, adoption barriers, and emerging use cases into recommendations for Partnerships and Product. Track how those insights inform offering development, prioritization, positioning, and enablement.

  • Define success metrics for partner launches and events, such as partner-enabled use-case adoption, enablement usage, partner activation, and message resonance, and report learnings to Partnerships, Product, and Growth Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications:

We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.

  •  5+ years in product marketing, partner marketing, or a closely related GTM role, ideally in B2B SaaS or data and intent products.

  • Experience building go-to-market strategies and launching offerings with technology, data, or channel partners.

  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive content for external partner audiences as well as internal teams.

  • Ability to translate data-driven products into clear customer value.

  • Proven ability to build sales and partner enablement that gets used.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Partnerships, Product, Sales, and Marketing, and comfort working through influence rather than direct authority.

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:
  • Familiarity with buyer intent data, sales and marketing technology ecosystems, or ABM and revenue platforms.

  • Experience in a data-licensing, integration-heavy, or ecosystem-driven business.

  • Experience managing sales enablement libraries, partner directories, or web content using platforms such as Highspot and Partnerfleet.

  • Experience creating interactive demos, recorded walkthroughs, or visual explainers for technical offerings is a plus.

  • Comfort with CRM, enablement, and analytics tools.
