About the role

We’re building our founding partnership team as we enable large independent and Big 6 agencies to bring the highest quality research to our clients. In doing so, our agency partners are able to provide increased value to their clients and increase the quality of their other offerings and campaigns. In addition, for agencies in the Terac Agency Partnership program, we provide the highest level of support with a focus on assisting in training, new business development, thought leadership and assistance with client pitches.

The Agency Partnership Manager’s primary role is to support commercial growth for our agencies through strategic sales and operational excellence. This position is focused on growing and retaining Terac’s largest independent agencies, as well as bringing new agencies into our Partnership Program. As a Partnership Manager, you will be working with agency C-level to create strategic initiatives, as well as, agency account teams to develop client opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own a robust independent agency book with full revenue ownership, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities in existing relationships

  • Bring in new agencies to our services and the Terac Agency Partnerships program

  • Work closely with agency C-level on strategic cross-agency initiatives

  • Serve as the primary contact for agency account teams and help them identify and pitch market research opportunities to their clients

  • Act as the quarterback of the agency account by leveraging cross-functional relationships with Terac teams to bring the best of Terac to our agencies and their clients

  • Provide value to our agency partners through trainings and co-hosted events

  • Manage end-to-end proposal process for contracts from $10k to $500k+ from intake to research methodology design and pricing

  • Utilize research expertise to design innovative and comprehensive proposals that meet client research needs

  • Help to design and develop scalable processes and tools that make the team more effective and efficient

Acting as a Strategic Partner to Key Accounts

  • Develop a deep understanding of partner research workflows, business models, and growth objectives.

  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts and shape how partners leverage Terac’s platform—including expert supply—to maximize value and drive usage.

  • Provide strategic input that influences partner direction and strengthens long-term commercial relationships.

  • We operate in-person six days per week in our downtown SF office

  • Compensation: Competitive salary, menaingful equity vested over four years, $10K relocation bonus (for moving to the Bay Area), and an additional $5k housing bonus (if you move within 0.5 miles of our office), Health, Dental, Vision insurance, 401(k) with company match
