The Payroll Systems Analyst will report to the Associate Director of Payroll and will support and maintain payroll system integrations with a primary focus on Workday Payroll and related HRIS platforms. This role is responsible for assisting with payroll interface monitoring, data validation, troubleshooting, and system support activities to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across integrated systems. The position partners closely with Payroll, HRIS, and Operations teams to support day-to-day integration activities and continuous process improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting payroll systems and integrations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot data and system issues in a fast-paced environment. This role will help ensure payroll data flows accurately between payroll, HR, benefits, timekeeping, and financial systems.

What You Will Do
- Support payroll system integrations between Workday Payroll, HRIS, timekeeping, benefits, and financial systems
- Monitor inbound and outbound payroll interfaces to ensure data accuracy and timely processing
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and payroll system issues in partnership with Payroll and HRIS
- Assist with testing activities for payroll system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and integration changes
- Validate payroll data and system outputs to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies
- Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, and testing script creation for system enhancements and integration updates
- Support payroll audits and compliance activities by ensuring data integrity across systems
- Identify opportunities to improve integration workflows, automation, and system efficiencies
- Provide day-to-day support to end users related to payroll system and integration issues
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience supporting payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or enterprise applications
- Experience with Workday Payroll, ADP, UKG, or related payroll systems preferred
- Basic understanding of payroll processes, integrations, and payroll compliance requirements
- Experience supporting system testing, data validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Workday integrations, reporting, or interface support preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred
