The Role

We’re looking to hire our first People Operations team member at Rogo to support the planning, execution, and ongoing management of our key People programs throughout the employee lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the foundation of the employee experience as we scale, helping to attract, retain, and grow top talent. This role will report to the People Lead.

What You’ll Own

People Programs & Processes

  • New Hire Onboarding: Own and evolve our onboarding experience, prioritizing personalization, clarity, and scalability so new hires feel set up for success and internal tasks are managed efficiently.

  • Performance Review Cycles: Drive the execution of performance review cycles, designing for effectiveness and scale, and ensuring deadlines are met, and team members are equipped with guidance and resources.

  • Surveys: Manage engagement survey delivery and communications; ability to interpret results and draw insights is a plus.

  • People Tools & Systems: Own the management of our HR tech stack, currently centered around Rippling PEO. Support evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of People systems, automations, and integrations.

  • People Data Management: Build and manage workflows for tracking people changes throughout the year – promotions, role changes, offboarding, etc. – ensuring our systems and processes are always up-to-date and accurate.

Benefits & Compliance

  • Benefits Admin: Lead management of our benefits programs through our PEO, ensuring a smooth and accurate employee experience.

  • HR Compliance: Maintain compliance with applicable employment requirements, policies, and documentation, escalating complex matters as needed.

Culture & Community

  • Employee Engagement & Connection: Evolve and own our engagement activities to create meaningful opportunities for connection and recognition.

  • Internal Communication & Resources: Manage the employee Wiki and employee guides, and build communication plans for people programs, ensuring the team is informed and supported.

People Manager Support & Resources

  • Serve as a People Ops partner to people managers, providing guidance on performance conversations, feedback, and day-to-day people management questions.

  • Develop and maintain clear manager resources, templates, and documentation to support consistent management practices.

Team & Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Recruiting, and Leadership on projects, policies, and operational improvements.

  • Lead ad hoc projects in support of the People function as needs arise.

What You’ll Bring

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, and program management.

  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing structured processes and programs with minimal direction.

  • Strong project management skills – capable of running multi-stakeholder initiatives end-to-end.

  • Experience owning HR systems and tools, with strong comfort managing workflows and automations (experience with Rippling highly preferred).

  • Attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with polished presentation of ideas and processes.

  • High emotional intelligence – self-aware, empathetic, and effective in collaboration.

  • Bias toward action – you find answers, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly.

Who You Are
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments. You are high-intensity and care a lot about what you do, and you're ecstatic to work at a startup.

  • You are ambitious. You have fun solving problems that others think are impossible.

  • You are curious. You find joy in learning about AI, technology, and finance.

  • You are an owner. You are autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity.

  • You are collaborative, organized, thoughtful, and kind.

Why Join Rogo?
  • Up and to the right: Rogo has strong product adoption with the world's leading financial institutions, and we are still early. The upside is enormous.

  • Extraordinary team: we take talent density seriously. You'll do the best work of your career alongside some of the sharpest people in AI and finance.

  • A one-of-one problem: bringing AI to the core of how Wall Street works is one of the most ambitious, technically demanding, and consequential problems today. There is nowhere else you can work on it at this scale.

  • Real ownership: You'll own real surface area and watch the world's most sophisticated users rely on your work.

  • Always at the frontier: we work at the edge of what the best models can do and turn it into products people trust. If you're obsessed with AI, this is where it's happening.
