Join our dynamic People & Transformation team and contribute to work that directly shapes the employee experience and supports a wide range of impactful programs.

As a Summer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to align your interests and academic background with meaningful projects in our Transformation organization. Depending on your focus, you may engage in case management, analysis and reporting or end-to-end project management. All areas play a vital role in enhancing employee engagement, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining compliance.

No matter where your internship journey takes you, you'll be empowered to apply your skills to real-world challenges and make a tangible impact.

In this role, you may work on:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business challenges
  • Evaluate communications strategies and make recommendations on ways to improve
  • End-to-end project management
  • Financial tracking and reporting

Who we’re looking for:

  • Open to all undergraduates and master’s candidates; emphasis in Organization Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Analytics, Legal Studies, Public Policy, Risk Management, Consulting or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
  • Ability to support projects by maintaining trackers and coordinating follow-up in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to research unfamiliar topics, evaluate information from multiple sources, identify gaps or trends, and summarize findings
  • Comfort working with data and artificial intelligence tools, including checking quality, preparing basic analyses, and developing reports.
  • Professional communication skills and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions, seek clarification, and share well-supported recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with guidance.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
  • A proactive, dependable approach and a commitment to completing high-quality work.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or potentially privileged information.

Program Details

  • Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
  • Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
  • Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
  • This position can earn $20 - $28 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Undergrad $20 per hour; Grad $28 per hour.)
