We’re a startup at the intersection of AI and video, backed by experienced serial entrepreneurs, a high-caliber team, and strong financial backing.

We’re looking for a people-centric, detail-oriented, and highly organized People & Workplace Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day operations that keep our team and workplace running smoothly. This is a hands-on, high-impact role spanning People Operations, workplace operations, and employee experience.

You’ll be at the center of the employee experience—from onboarding and benefits administration to office operations, company events, and the thoughtful details that make our workplace a great place to be.

What You’ll DoPeople Operations & HR
  • Own and coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, equipment, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination

  • Manage and maintain People systems and tools, including our HRIS, benefits platforms, ATS, and other employee systems

  • Support benefits administration, HR documentation, and compliance-related processes

  • Coordinate performance review cycles, employee engagement surveys, trainings, and other People programs

  • Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Support the development and implementation of People processes as the company continues to grow

  • Partner with leadership and team members to help create a thoughtful, consistent employee experience

  • Take on special projects related to company growth, culture, People Operations, and employee experience

Workplace & Office Operations
  • Own the day-to-day operations of our San Francisco office and ensure the workplace runs smoothly

  • Manage office supplies, snacks and beverages, vendors, mail, deliveries, and other workplace essentials

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related needs, including cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and building coordination

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with workplace vendors and service providers

  • Plan and execute company events and employee experiences, including team outings, holiday parties, celebrations, all-hands meetings, and wellness initiatives

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve our workplace and employee experience

  • Foster a positive, energetic, and welcoming workplace culture through thoughtful details and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar HR-focused role

  • Hands-on experience with core People Operations processes such as onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, HR systems, employee records, and performance cycles

  • Experience supporting workplace or office operations is strongly preferred; startup experience is a plus

  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS platforms, and ATS tools such as Ashby

  • A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs, takes initiative, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed

  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience and a thriving workplace

  • Creative, resourceful, and positive, with a genuine desire to make things better

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for equity and our comprehensive benefits package described above

If the scope or level of the role evolves based on the candidate, we’ll adjust and communicate the compensation range accordingly.
