The ideal candidate will combine deep PeopleTools and PeopleSoft administration experience with strong fundamentals in Oracle database, Linux/Unix, and modern DevOps practices. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
- Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
- Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
- Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- PeopleSoft certifications.
- Experience operating PeopleSoft on OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with CI/CD patterns for PeopleSoft change management.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Selective Adoption strategy.
