About Nooks.ai:

Nooks is an applied AI lab building the Agent Workspace for GTM. We design AI agents that operate across the full sales action set, from account strategy to prospect research and outreach. Building 0→1 has never been easier, but selling at the speed of the market remains the last frontier for AI. Our mission is to 10x every seller by automating the busywork so they can focus on what humans do best: closing deals.

Today, over 2000 customers run on Nooks, including Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, and Rippling. We've raised over 70M USD from top VCs like Kleiner Perkins, and we've at least tripled ARR each year for 3 years running.

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to build the foundation for a top-performing performance marketing function at Nooks. You'll own the performance channels that capture existing demand, and make every dollar count on the channels that create demand and meet buyers before their moment of need.

We want a systems thinker who is obsessed with paid media: someone who moves fast, builds media programs that scale, and knows that details matter. In performance marketing, a broken tag or a mis-set budget costs real pipeline, so the work has to be right every time.

You'll own paid media end to end: media planning, hands-on execution, measurement and optimization. You're analytical, curious and hands-on. You'd rather open the ad account yourself than wait for a report, you use AI to work faster, and you're always looking for the next dollar to cut or scale. You'll report to the Head of Growth Marketing.

About the role:

  • Own paid search and demand capture

    • Run Google and Bing hands-on: account structure, keywords, bidding, copy and landing pages

    • Pick the right bidding strategy for each campaign, from manual CPC to tCPA, tROAS and value-based bidding on offline conversions from our CRM. Know when each one works and, just as important, when it doesn't

    • Scale review sites, affiliate partner programs, content syndication, appointment setting and third-party webinars to drive revenue growth

  • Build demand creation that pays off

    • Plan and run paid social, display, programmatic, CTV and online video to reach buyers before they're in-market

    • Define each channel's role in the funnel and how we'll measure it

  • Own media planning, budget and attainment to targets

    • Build the media plan, allocate budget across channels and manage pacing

    • Shift spend in-quarter based on ROAS and pipeline

    • Know every morning how much your ads spent yesterday

    • Report spend against pipeline and revenue in numbers leadership can trust

  • Lead our agency and platform partners

    • Write clear briefs, set the bar and QA the work

    • Know the accounts well enough to spot problems before they do

    • Speed up creative testing and emerging channel experiments, and share what works with the team

  • Build our ad ops

    • Build the ad ops system, pressure test it, and make sure it's in place before every ad goes live

    • Develop repeatable systems and templates that can be automated

    • Automate reporting, monitor spend and catch anomalies early, and prototype solutions quickly to validate them before investing in full builds

About you:

  • We hire for trajectory, not tenure. Show us what you've built, owned and scaled.

  • Deep, hands-on paid search expertise, including value-based bidding, offline conversions and smart bidding

  • Experience planning and buying paid social, display, programmatic, CTV and online video

  • A strong grasp of measurement beyond last touch, including multi-touch attribution and incrementality, and a habit of thinking in ROAS

  • A systems thinker with extreme ownership, who moves fast and still sweats the details

  • Proactive and hands-on: you raise problems before others notice them, bring solutions, and hold agencies to the same bar

  • Daily use of modern AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, with workflows or automations you can show us. This is a must-have.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with predicted lifetime value (pLTV) modeling and bidding
