About Wander

Wander is revolutionizing the $100 B+ short‑term rental industry. We curate every aspect of the guest experience—from our smart homes to our intuitive booking platform. Our mission is to help people find their happy place, and our vision is to create the infrastructure for people to experience the world.

Backed by top‑tier investors and led by experienced startup veterans, we're a tight‑knit, remote‑first team united by our passion for travel, technology, and creating unforgettable experiences.

About The Role

As the Performance Marketing Manager on the Marketing team at Wander, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition across key digital channels to drive high-intent traffic and qualified leads for wander.com/os. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling a performance engine that fuels awareness, trials, and product adoption for Wander OS—a modern operating system for hosting and managing short-term rentals. In this salaried, full-time role, you will partner closely with product marketing, sales, and analytics to design data-driven campaigns, experiment with new channels and tactics, and continually refine our funnel to improve ROI and payback. This is a hands-on role for a marketer who is both analytical and creative, with a deep understanding of B2B SaaS or software-like products, a passion for testing and iteration, and a desire to help shape how a new category-defining product reaches property managers and hosts.

What You'll Do

  • Own performance marketing strategy and execution for wander.com/os across core paid channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, and relevant vertical platforms).
  • Plan, launch, and optimize full-funnel campaigns to drive quality traffic, trials, demos, and sign-ups for Wander OS, aligned with growth targets and CAC/ROI goals.
  • Develop and manage a structured experimentation roadmap, including A/B tests on creative, messaging, bidding strategies, audiences, and landing pages.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track campaign performance, channel attribution, and funnel health; communicate insights and recommendations to marketing and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to translate Wander OS value propositions into compelling ad copy, creative concepts, and offers tailored to property managers and hosts.
  • Partner with design and content teams to brief, test, and iterate on ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign assets that improve relevance and conversion rates.
  • Continuously refine audience segmentation and targeting strategies, leveraging first-party data, lookalike audiences, retargeting, and contextual targeting.
  • Work with analytics and RevOps (or equivalent) to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and measurement across the user journey, including pixels, UTM strategy, and event tracking.
  • Monitor and manage paid media budgets, pacing, and bid strategies to hit performance goals while maximizing efficiency and staying within constraints.
  • Identify and evaluate new channels, tools, and partners that can drive incremental high-quality demand for Wander OS.
  • Collaborate with lifecycle, email, and CRM teams to ensure cohesive acquisition, nurture, and retention journeys for prospects acquired through paid channels.
  • Stay current on performance marketing best practices, platform changes, and trends in B2B SaaS and property management technology to inform strategy and experimentation.
  • Provide regular performance readouts, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including what’s working, what’s not, and where to invest next.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with a focus on paid acquisition for B2B SaaS, software, or tech products.
  • Proven track record managing and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads and at least one major social platform (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn) to meaningful revenue or pipeline goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics (or GA4), ad platform analytics, and BI or dashboarding tools to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast performance, and optimize toward CAC, ROAS, payback period, or similar efficiency metrics.
  • Experience designing and running structured A/B tests and experiments, including hypothesis development, test design, measurement, and iteration.
  • Comfort working with tracking and attribution fundamentals, including pixels, tags, UTMs, conversion events, and multi-touch attribution concepts.
  • Excellent copywriting and messaging skills for performance creatives, with the ability to translate complex product benefits into clear, compelling value propositions.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, design, sales, and analytics teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter mindset with a bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with or interest in the short-term rental, property management, or hospitality technology space is a plus.
  • Experience with landing page optimization tools (e.g., Webflow, Unbounce, Optimizely) and CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) is a plus.

GOLDEN GATE RECRUITING

Performance Marketer — WanderOS

Golden Gate Recruiting is partnering with Wander to find a Performance Marketer for WanderOS, Wander's B2B platform for vacation rental property managers. This is a great opportunity to own paid acquisition and growth for a product with real traction, at a company redefining hospitality through design and technology.

Location: Remote (US) — company HQ presence a plus Type: Full-time

About Wander & WanderOS

Wander's mission is to help people find their happy place by building the infrastructure to experience the world — beautifully designed homes, powerful technology, and 24/7 concierge support that turn a stay into something people remember.

WanderOS is Wander's operator-facing platform: an all-in-one system that helps property managers and vacation rental operators win more direct bookings. It combines a conversion-optimized booking website, automated guest lifecycle marketing, PMS integrations (11+ platforms), and AI-powered distribution — already used by 1,000+ property management companies across 10,000+ properties, and responsible for $80M+ in bookings to date. WanderOS is central to Wander's growth strategy, and this hire will directly own the engine that brings new operators onto the platform.

The Role

We're looking for a Performance Marketer who can build and scale paid acquisition for a B2B SaaS product with a real, definable ICP — vacation rental property managers and operators. You'll own the numbers behind WanderOS's growth: spend, CAC, pipeline, and conversion, across paid search, paid social, and any other channel that earns its keep. You'll work closely with content, product marketing, and sales to make sure every dollar is working as hard as it can.

What You'll Do
  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution for WanderOS across Google/search, paid social (LinkedIn, Meta), and other performance channels
  • Build, launch, and continuously optimize campaigns against CAC, pipeline, and revenue targets — not just clicks and impressions
  • Manage budget allocation across channels and campaigns, reallocating toward what's actually driving qualified demo requests and signups
  • Partner with content and design to brief and test landing pages, ad creative, and offers, running structured experiments to improve conversion at every stage of the funnel
  • Own attribution and reporting — build the dashboards and models that show leadership exactly what's working and why
  • Work with sales and RevOps to track paid leads through the funnel to closed revenue, and tighten the loop between spend and pipeline quality
  • Explore and test emerging channels (including AI-driven search and discovery platforms) as they become relevant to how property managers find software
  • Stay closely tuned to WanderOS's ICP — property managers and vacation rental operators — to keep targeting, messaging, and creative sharp

Join a team building the infrastructure behind some of the most beautiful stays in the country — and the software that powers the operators behind them. You'll have real ownership over WanderOS's growth engine, direct access to leadership, and the chance to build a performance function from a position of real product and traction strength.
