About the Role

We are looking for an AI Agent Engineer to join our team as part of Tech Seeds 2026. This is an engineering-first role for someone who wants their work to have real-world impact — not just demos, but agent systems that ship. You will work alongside senior engineers to design and build AI agents, workflows, and internal AI systems that improve our products and operational efficiency. This role is especially suited for candidates who are curious, fast learners, and excited to build practical AI systems in production. Production agent design today is typically centered on clear tool integration, strong instructions, safe execution, and iterative rollout, rather than purely academic model work.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build AI agent workflows and LLM-powered systems for real business use cases
  • Develop and integrate tools for agents, including APIs, internal services, databases, knowledge sources, and operational systems
  • Improve agent quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost through testing, evaluation, and iteration
  • Build prompt structures, orchestration logic, memory or retrieval patterns, and human handoff flows where needed
  • Collaborate with product, business, and operations teams to translate ambiguous business problems into practical AI solutions
  • Contribute to backend services, internal platforms, and lightweight interfaces to support end-to-end delivery
  • Help define reusable engineering patterns, guardrails, and evaluation approaches for production AI agents

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of software engineering, AI engineering, or relevant internship/project experience
  • Strong programming fundamentals in Java or Python, TypeScript, or backend development is a plus
  • Good software engineering judgment, including APIs, debugging, system design, and data handling
  • Strong curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and production AI systems
  • Ability to learn new domains quickly and work effectively in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to read, understand, and improve AI-generated code, or learn to do so very quickly
  • Good communication skills and the ability to connect technical work to business value
  •
    Bonus Points
  • Personal projects, hackathons, or internships involving LLM apps, AI agents, RAG, automation, or internal tools
  • Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, agent frameworks, or orchestration tools
  • Experience with backend systems, cloud environments, observability, or production support
  • Exposure to fintech, crypto, customer support systems, operations workflows, or risk/compliance processes

  • What Makes You a Fit for Tech Seeds 2026

You are self-driven, AI-native, and practical. You learn fast, like solving real problems, and are excited to turn new ideas into working systems. You do not wait to be told every step: you explore, test, iterate, and improve.

Why Binance
• Shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem
• Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure
• Tackle unique, fast-paced projects with autonomy in an innovative environment
• Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning
• Competitive salary and company benefits
• Work-from-home arrangement (the arrangement may vary depending on the work nature of the business team)

Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer. We believe that having a diverse workforce is fundamental to our success.
