The base salary range listed for this role reflects the expected compensation for candidates located in the United States. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional performance-based compensation, such as commissions or bonuses. Job Description

The Redesign Group is seeking a Regional Solutions Architect to serve as a technical advisor supporting customer engagements across our Professional Services, Managed Services, and Specialty Solutions portfolio throughout the Southeast. This role operates at the intersection of architecture, customer strategy, and pre-sales solution design. The Solutions Architect partners closely with sales leadership to engage prospective and existing clients, understand complex technology environments, and design scalable infrastructure and security solutions aligned with business goals.

The Solutions Architect provides the technical leadership during the pre-sales lifecycle, helping shape solution strategies, guide architectural discussions, and support the development of opportunities across enterprise customers. What You'll Do

  • Serve as the technical lead during the pre-sales lifecycle, partnering with sales teams to support strategic customer engagements.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with client stakeholders to understand infrastructure challenges, modernization initiatives, and long-term architecture goals.
  • Design and position solution architectures across infrastructure, hybrid cloud, networking, and cybersecurity technologies. Support the development of solution proposals, architectural designs, and technical recommendations for enterprise customers.
  • Partner with Core Sales to advance complex opportunities and ensure technical alignment during the sales process.
  • Present and explain solution designs to C-level and technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Service Delivery teams to ensure architectures are aligned for successful implementation.
  • Stay current on evolving technologies to help guide customers toward modern, scalable infrastructure and cloud architectures


Technical Focus Areas

Experience across several of the following technology domains is preferred:

  • Infrastructure and virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Hyper-V, and enterprise compute platforms
  • Hybrid cloud architecture and data center modernization including Microsoft Azure, hybrid infrastructure design, and workload migration strategies
  • Enterprise networking and next-generation security solutions including routing, switching, firewalls, and secure network architectures
  • Managed network and managed security services including infrastructure monitoring, operations, and lifecycle management
  • Microsoft ecosystem technologies including Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and identity platforms
  • Cybersecurity services including MDR (Managed Detection and Response), identity protection, threat detection, and remediation initiatives
  • Data protection and resiliency platforms including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity technologies such as Veeam, Rubrik, and Cohesity
Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting
  • Experience supporting customer-facing pre-sales engagements or architecture design discussions
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and Microsoft ecosystems
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience working with enterprise clients or complex IT environments
  • Strong collaboration skills working across sales, architecture, and service delivery teams
