Job Description Summary

Leverages professional graphic design expertise and presentation design excellence to create presentations and pitch materials for Investment Banking. Designs original concepts, graphics, and presentation assets that support business communications while maintaining Raymond James and client brand standards. Under limited supervision, delivers high-quality presentation solutions in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Manager, Presentation Design, applies advanced design and presentation software skills to communicate complex information with clarity, precision, and professionalism.

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop PowerPoint presentations, pitch books, templates, and related materials for Investment Banking. 
  • Transform complex financial data, business concepts, and strategic messaging into clear, professional presentation materials. 
  • Design and prepare graphics, infographics, templates, charts, diagrams, maps, and other assets for PowerPoint presentations and pitch materials. 
  • Create and apply Raymond James and client-specific brand standards across presentations, templates, and related materials. 
  • Develop original concepts and layouts that communicate information effectively and meet project requirements. 
  • Execute and troubleshoot complex presentation and graphic design projects. 
  • Review work for accuracy, consistency, formatting, brand compliance, and overall design quality before delivery. 
  • Collaborate with bankers, associates, analysts, and business partners to understand project requirements and develop appropriate design solutions. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
  • Maintain organized project files, templates, and digital assets in accordance with established processes. 
  • Remain current in presentation design, graphic design, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, PowerPoint capabilities, AI-assisted design tools, and industry best practices. 
  • Mentor and support associate presentation designers when appropriate. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Professional training and ability to demonstrate expertise in presentation design and graphic design. 
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, hierarchy, branding, and information design. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables, graphs, and data visualizations. 
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, sophisticated, and business-focused format. 
  • Ability to produce creative work within established Raymond James and client brand standards with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Experience developing presentations, pitch materials, marketing communications, or related deliverables for financial services, investment banking, real estate, consulting, or other professional services environments preferred. 
  • Experience developing and maintaining branded PowerPoint templates, presentation systems, and slide libraries. 
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams of designers, managers, and business stakeholders. 
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including template architecture, Slide Master development, advanced presentation production, and presentation design best practices. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, including advanced charting, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. 
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. 
  • Experience with AI-powered creative tools and productivity tools to improve presentation development, workflow efficiency, and design execution. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong client-service mindset and ability to build effective working relationships across organizational levels. 
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, Visual Communication, or a closely related design discipline or equivalent work experience required. 

Working Schedule 

  • Monday through Friday, split shift, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET. Additional hours may be required based on business needs. 

Education

Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Computer Graphics, Bachelor’s: Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, High School (HS) (Required)
