The Anaplan Solution Architect will serve as the strategic solution leader for enterprise planning initiatives, helping business teams transform planning processes into scalable, connected planning solutions. You will partner with the Marketing Operations Team to understand business objectives, define application architecture, and deliver scalable, efficient, and insightful solutions. As the platform grows within Dynatrace, this role will have the opportunity to expand into other business functions and applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Leading the end-to-end design and delivery of sophisticated Anaplan planning solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional peers to gather requirements, understand pain points, and propose tailored Anaplan solutions.
- Developing comprehensive Anaplan multi-dimensional models that optimize processes, enhance functionality, and align with best practices.
- Overseeing and guiding the integration of Anaplan with other systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Leading by example and setting high standards for solution architecture, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to both the team and stakeholders across Dynatrace.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Anaplan features and industry trends, incorporating them into solution designs and team skill development.
This is a remote eligible position. Candidates who live within a 45 mile radius of Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; and Denver, CO will be required to work hybrid (2 days per week) out of our Dyntrace office. Candidates are required to work EST hours for this position.
What will help you succeedMinimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Anaplan solutions, including substantial exposure to solution architecture.
- An Anaplan Certified Model Builder certification is required, with additional certifications such as Anaplan Certified Solution Architect, are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Anaplan functionalities, including modules, lists, dashboards, complex calculations, and data integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Anaplan models and solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to align tactical efforts with broader business goals.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and an understanding of project management concepts.
- Familiarity with other EPM tools, data visualization platforms, or business intelligence solutions is a plus.
- A results-driven attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Experience building Anaplan (or similar EPM) models for marketing budget planning, allocation, and spend forecasting
- Experience with SQL and PowerBI

DOE, salary $145K - $175K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
