Our Data Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, modernizing, and maintaining operational and analytical capability in the Wealthscape Reporting, Analytics and Insights team. The data infrastructure is going through significant growth, and this is an opportunity to take a contributing role in shaping IWMS capability in this area. The work involves solution design, data analysis, and production rollout project activities in Snowflake, AWS, and cloud-native DBs.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 8+ years’ experience in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required
  • Working knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica and Snaplogic).
  • 8+ years’ experience working with a variety of Databases like Snowflake, Oracle, Postgres etc.
  • Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • 1-2 years’ recent experience in Python development
  • Proven data analysis skills
  • Experience in working with AWS 
  • Good to have - Working experience with some or all the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development.
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) is a plus
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus
  • Financial Industry Experience is a must
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 36,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 127,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
