The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Principal Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end lifecycle of a product—from concept and development through production, launch, support, and retirement. This role ensures cross-functional alignment, data integrity, process efficiency, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Can Expect

  • Primary management of Agile PLM processes
  • Lead implementation of new PLM and systems to support QMS processes
  • Create items/documents, bills of materials, ECOs, Deviations, MCO, EOL etc  
  • Ensure all change orders are documented correctly before processing for approval and release to internal and external partners
  • Drive resolution of Agile/Oracle errors with Users and work with IT as required  
  • Administer and ensure all product/process related documentation meet operational needs and conforms to company standards
  • Develop effective streamlined methodologies for workflow routings, document distribution, and implementing specific requirements
  • Lead cross functional project initiatives such as: system and process integrations, data migration, automation, enhancements, manufacturing BOM, documentation, change management processes and process improvement
  • Lead Agile/Oracle Cloud/Oracle ERP testing during development and implementation of new functionalities or processes
  • Support management of Agile user accounts privileges, and roles
  • Responsible for developing training documents and conducting training sessions including one-on-one coaching as needed across Marvell on document control tools, processes, and best practices
  • Prepare and publish ECO, BOM status and cycle time reports
  • Lead development and management of PLM metrics dashboard

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10+ years of related professional experience. OR  Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of experience.

  • 5+ years industry experience in product lifecycle management, engineering systems or PLM

  • 5+ years hands-on PLM experience (implementation, configuration, or administration)

  • Proven leadership in enterprise-scale PLM deployments or transformations (i.e. Agile, Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, etc)

  • Experience working in complex, regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Data models

    • Object relationships

    • Workflow engines

Expertise in:

  • Bill of Materials (EBOM, MBOM, SBOM)

  • Part numbering and classification systems

  • Version/revision control

  • Product configuration rules

Deep knowledge of:

  • Engineering Change Requests (ECR)

  • Engineering Change Orders (ECO)

  • Change workflows and governance models

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationship, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

  • Relevant experience transitioning a product from development, through production operations

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

130,030 - 194,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
